Great compact saw.
Lighter and more quite than other models with great ergonomics. Very easy to put it on the mark and make square cuts. Blade change is a breeze. Great unit.

Incredible quality and performance
I happened to already have battery packs and needed a circular saw, so I went with Dewalt. As expected, the saw is built with incredible quality, and I was able to construct two shed doors on a single charge without issue. Incredibly convenient being able to work cordless and have the power that comes with Dewalt.

Great little saw
I chose this item because I have dewalt batteries so you have to buy dewalt. I would rather have the 7 inch blade but being right handed I chose the 6 1/2 because the blade is on the left side of the saw where it is easier to see the blade where as the 7 inch is on the right side of the motor. I like to be able to see the blade directly rather than trying to see the blade by looking over my right arm. Over all the saw is quite powerful and makes quick work of any sawing job I have.

Nice saw-Has some flaws
First impressions The saw is reasonably light weight, even with a 6AH battery attached. It was able to rip a 3/4" thick 4'x8' plywood down the middle without binding or bogging. It did have a new plywood blade installed to do this. The saw only comes with a framing blade. It does come with a dust collection adapter of which I had nothing that fit it well. That is on order. The saw does throw a lot of sawdust without it. Hopefully that will change when attached to my dust collection (Jet) system. Pros: Light weight Freedom from cumbersome cords Decent power Easy blade changes Came "square" and not crooked or bent. Comes with a "work" light, but not the light it needs (see below) It has a depth adjustment gauge with actual measurements. Cons: No laser projection cut line. Trigger safety is notchy and cumbersome. It should be located closer to the trigger. No saw guide included. (Available on Amazon). Depth adjustment gauge is hard to read as it is "silver on silver" especially in lower light. It should be black letters on silver. All in all a good saw so far.
