Great saw, but really throws the sawdust out the side instead of the included sawdust port, almost nothing goes into the catcher.

Really nice little sidewinder. I found it to have ample power for ripping 1x and cutting 2x to length. The rafter hook and exhaust port are a nice touch too. My only complaint is the safety switch, which needs to be depressed by your thumb before you can pull the trigger, is kinda awkward and can be difficult to manage (I don't have very large hands). Still, after a little use it's not so bad I felt it deserved taking a star away for it.

Very happy with it. Weirdly quiet, easy to operate (but not unsafe), lightweight, good battery life. Used much more frequently than I would have expected around the house the last 1-1/2 years. Dewalt brand black + yellow makes you feel like a real man/woman. Despite some abuse the original blade remains. Price fluctuates so value will depend on the price of other options in the Li-ion space but no complaints here.

This cordless saw is a great addition to my tools, so much easier than messing with cords. Plenty of power and I have not found the smaller blade to be a restriction yet. I have not had a saw with the blade on the left side before, but once you are used to it it's fine, and has advantages in some cutting situations. I like the light and the cast alloy baseplate. Two reasons for 4 stars vs 5. First the saw is a little long with the battery fitted, the Milwaukee was more compact and lighter but I have lots of DeWalt batteries. Second the dust control seems like an after thought. Other than that a great saw

Was worried that it may not work for what I needed, but this little saw is a BEAST!!! We used it cut all the wood to put wood panels in our basement. Such a great and handy tool.
