Por que algunos no crece ?** A: Hay que colocarle todo el quimico despacio y si aveces hay partes que no crecen por alguna razòn. **Q: Can I put this in a glass dome or will that make it explode? I don't know if chemicals or process could cause build up of pressure in enclosed globe.** A: I believe you can put it in a glass dome it may help preserve the crystal longer. **Q: How long do the crystals last once they’re grown? Are they permanent or do they crumble after a bit?** A: they definitely crumble into a powder at the base of the paper trees they grew on they're not long lasting crystals like I had when I was a kid, but they are amazing to watch grow (and you CAN watch them grow, it's THAT fast). instant satisfaction for a younger child, vs the set and leave it for a month of the old time crystal growing kits. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super cool, entertaining, fun to watch for days! *by A***R on July 24, 2026* We loved it! My son and I did this one and they kept growing long after the kit said they would. It was cool to watch. This was a win! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must purchase *by A***T on September 3, 2024* This was very fun to do with my daughter. I was very impressed to see it grow the way it did. If your tree doesn’t grow it’s because of something you did wrong . It started to grow in about 30 minutes or so now the crystals are very delicate and will fall off I enjoyed it all so thank you ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent quality, with confusing instructions *by C***G on May 2, 2025* This is my first crystal growing kit, so I don't have much to compare it to. The instructions seemed to be for a slightly different set, so it was a little hard to know how to apply the growing solution. But it worked mostly as designed. The colors ran and faded more than we thought they would. And the crystals are so soft and delicate they the trees disintegrated over a few days. But it works well as a combined science experiment and art project. My 7-year-old son was excited to create the first tree, but lost interest in doing the other two. Maybe better for a group of three kids to each get one tree, than for one kid to do three themselves. ## Frequently Bought Together - NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Craft Kits for Kids - Crystal Growing Kit - Grow a Crystal Garden in Just 6 Hours, Educational Craft Art Project, STEM Crafts for Girls Ages 8 9 10 11 & 12 (Amazon Exclusive) - NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Mega Crystal Growing Kit for Kids- Grow 6 Crystals with Light-Up Stand, Science Gifts for Kids 8-12, Crystal Making Experiment, Science Kit for Girls and Boys (Amazon Exclusive) - NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Gemstone Dig Kit – Dig Up 10 Real Gemstones and Crystals, Science Kit for Kids, Gem Digging Kit, Gift for Girls and Boys, Mining Kit, Rock Collection --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/235197875-national-geographic-crystal-growing-craft-kit-to-create-a-crystal](https://www.desertcart.is/products/235197875-national-geographic-crystal-growing-craft-kit-to-create-a-crystal) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
