Sounds better than you think it will
This little thing is amazing. There are many strange effects possible--some downright spooky--but the thing that most amazes me...and that I use the most... is the way it emulates a 12 string. I don't need that sound often enough to lug around an entire 12 string guitar--so being able to stomp on this is perfect. I bought it thinking it was a long shot--but it sounds quite good.

Very small
A wonderful and very compact and very comprehensively functioning harmonizer. The wheel sets tha harmony pitch and the tiny switch places the harmony note either above or below the original pitch. When the switch is in the middle the device acts as a detuner to add chorus like depth to your sound . Highly recommended and it is easily powered from a one spot. As for size , I have eaten candy bars that were bigger. An easy and useful add on to your pedal board ... 5 stars buy with confidence ..... it also tracks 100% accuracy . It does its job .

OK Pitch Shifter, Awesome Organ Simulator
Harmony Pedal: Pitch Shift: 7/10 The signal is a little wobbly. For comparison, I'd rate my Drop pedal a 9/10. Both pedals sound a little weird unless they are buried in the mix. Both pedals get a little shakey the more complex (chords) the input is. The Drop outperforms the Hotone when striking full chords. [IMPORTANT NOTE w/ all pitch shifters: Even w/ headphones you must have your volume turned up loud enough that you cannot hear your pick hitting your strings or things are going to sound like an alien dying.] Latency: 6/10 Noticeable but useable. The Drop is barely noticeable. Options: 1) Up mode. For the price it is wild that this pedal goes both ways. 2) Organ Mode: Crank the wet+dry signals to 11 and pitch to max and it sounds exactly like a giant church organ. This is why I kept this pedal.

A lot of fun!
Small, well set up , de-tunner varies pitch, in center position, upwards position varies pitch in note increments , position down, varies pitch in note increments down to 2 octaves in lowest step. A lot of fun to experiment.

Flexible and fun
Wide variety of sounds and transposing made easy if don't mind the latency. Unfortunately the unit doesn't hold the original tone well. The direct sound gets muddy when unit is bypassed and the tone gets really bright when it is engaged. The effect gets worse when connected through an effects loop. Overall it's very noisy. This unit is being used with tube amp so it may work better with a solid state amp. At only $35 the variety of available tones makes this a keeper. Oh and it's tiny, small microscopic, almost to the point of laughable. If you don't have it bolted to a pedal board then get two so you have another "when" you lose it. I'm tempted to put the guts in a standard size case. Have fun...

Mini FX pedal built like little tank. And the sound is good too!
There is a bit of latency when the effect is on. But is sounds great! Time will tell how well it holds up.

Turns my Telecaster into a Rickenbaker 12 String
Hotone Harmony pedal adds a second note to the one being played. I like to add an octave to sound like a 12 string guitar. It works very well.

Incredible deal
Did just what I needed it to do, creating harmonies and mimicking chords on bass… awesome flexibility

Interesting pedal
You can get a lot of different sounds out of this pedal. It works basically how it is described. It's small, about 1.5" by 3". The 12 setting is mainly what I've kept it set to. Worth adding to your pedal collection.

Good pedal!
Great pedal for the price. Lots of features in a tiny pedal. The drop function works well.

not bad, i like the operation and the size was the real advantage
i love the size, doesnt track as good as something made by Electroharmonix, but the size it great.. i'll use it for a bit until i can find something that sounds better with close to the same footprint

Adds a lot of fun to the pedal board
I don't play with pitch shifters much, as they are usually very expensive, but this one wasn't, so tried it out. Wow ! the crazy tones you can get out of this thing. It pairs really nicely with chorus and reverb, with a pretty broad range of tones you can step up or go down to. It's like having a second guitar playing with you. A looper really helped open it up - playing a lick with it all the way down like a baritone, then playing overtop as a tenor - range for days. This fun box will be staying on my board :D
