Kwikset Prescott Front Door Handle No Lock, Entry Handleset Exterior with Interior Reversible Handed Lever, Non-Locking, Venetian Bronze, Deadbolt Not Included, with Microban Protection

I have always try to buy "same kind" of product just to save money than I spend on with name brands, because WHY NOT? Im sure everyone done the same thing as I did. But now, I realized that sometimes name brand like this kwikset is much better and more sturdier than the other. You could tell it by the weight and quality of items used on this vs. the cheap brand, very light and rusted and didn't last long. I am convinced that few more extra dollars won't hurt you, it will last longer than the other ones. Smooth locking mechanism and ease of use after installing.

I have double front entry doors. I used this handle on the passive side simply for aesthetics, i.e., I have the same handle but with a cylinder lock on the active door so the doors look balanced. This is nice and heavy and there's a faint bronze look at the edges. From the street it looks like it's all one color.

This is my second purchase of this handle, I have had it on our house for about 6 years and just purchased for our VRBO rental with the matching Kwikset smart lock deadbolt. It has held up well and easy installation!

beautiful, easy to install.

When my old handle wore out I wanted to replace it with an inside lever and not a knob. The Schlage looks good, but it had a knob and they didn’t seem to over a lever handle. I almost took a chance on the cheaper version of this at around $50 but the reviews said it was kind’ve light weight, so I sprung for the $101 Kwikset, as I’ve always found the product line to be well made. This set did not disappoint. It is very heavy and the finish is beautiful. It was very easy to install and the feature of the variable range of the bottom fastener of about 1.25” is pretty cool for replacing an existing set of similar design. Unfortunately, mine was about an inch out of range. Nice feature, though. It operates very smoothly and feels kind of elegant to the touch. Spend the extra dough on this. You won’t be disappointed!

Bought this when my current handle broke. I was impressed with the quality of the handle. It works smoothly and looks beautiful.

tried a cheaper one but was not as well built as this, much smoother, seems to be very well made and it fit perfectly. Read the directions.

Quality product. Looks great. Easy to install. Directions could be better. Price is good. The design is much better than old door handles and gives you adjustments to make it easy.
