Safavieh Couture Dilan Black Woven Leather Safari Chair

This chair is beautifully made and has lovely modern clean lines. The brown leather is strong and the crosshatch pattern gives it interest. I originally ordered two for my living room. I returned one as the chairs were too low and delicate next to my slightly overstuffed couches. I put the remaining one in my more modern bedroom and I am so happy. You can see how low the chair is by noting the snake plant next to it in the photo. The chair is designed so that you sit back in it at a slight angle which is not the most comfortable for a long amount of time. The chairs arrived fully assembled. The return was so easy with UPS. I had been looking at this chair for several months on different sites and Amazon by far had the best price. Other sites were selling for anywhere between $800 and $1200 dollars.

Really a great looking chair. Seem to be very well made. Surprisingly comfortable. They have a fairly small footprint and sit pretty low but exactly what i was looking for. Great purchase.

I bought this chair for my old farmhouse and it gives just the right amount of chic. It feels sturdy and seems well-made. It's fairly deep, so I find that it's more comfortable with a pillow for lumbar support. Overall, I'm pleased; however, I gave it 4 stars because the arm rests are leather straps and sag when I rest my arms on them. I feel sure they'll stretch out and sag even more over time. It you plan to use this chair often, I'd seriously think about how much support you'll need for your arms.

I had to return the first one. It had one leg shorter than the others. But the second one I received was fine. They are comfortable for a while, but not exactly the chair to sit down to read for 2 hours.

I ordered this chair and the (somewhat) matching sofa. I NEVER received the sofa! This chair may look nice BUT **the arms are too feeble & will sag over time **the chair is too low-slung to get out of for many peipl **the seat is too long for most people but the tallest to sit comfortably **the packaging is awful; the box came torn which Amazon tried to conceal with prime dark-colored tape. The box is full of styrofoam & left those annoying white pebbles everywhere. I mean EVERYWHERE. I am sending the chair back. I think most of the people giving positive reviews are using this for decoration rather than seating. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I have 2 of these chairs in my living room and get compliments from guests all the time. They are sturdy and good quality. Not the most comfortable chairs for long periods of time, but that should be obvious from their streamlined aesthetic. They're perfect for 1-2 hour hangout sessions in our living room.

I love the design of this chair. The leather is soft and good looking. I like the way it completes the space in the living room. I added a pillow to the back, so it sits comfortably. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

This chair is perfect if you're looking for a classic occasional chair with an airy feel. Like other reviewers said, it is very deep which is wonderful for tall people who are usually uncomfortable in this type seating. I put a down-filled turkish rug pillow in the back and had several friends sit before deciding to keep the chair. Every one of them said it was extremely comfortable. My only suggestion would be for the manufacturer to figure a way to put a stable synthetic inner layer in the leather arm straps to ensure they won't stretch out.
