The tape is great and really sticks - so make sure you have it where you want it! I like that we could place the tape where we wanted it before removing the covering on the other side. It is not thick at all, so doors can easily swing over areas where it's been placed. It worked perfectly for a rug in the entryway that was prone to moving.

All I can say is this stuff works great and it does not leave any residue on your floor. Easy to apply and easy to remove. Application takes a little practice because it's very sticky. But once you get it on your rugs they stay as flat as the desert! And they stay down no matter what.

Carpet on carpet. Very sticky. Little tricky to put down but I took it slow and placed on carpet first then peeled back. Working well. Rug stays in place now.

Used this rug tape on an entry rug on a ceramic floor after spending years straightening out the same rug. Kids and the dog would basically shift the rug every time they touched it, even with a no slip mat underneath the rug, so on a whim I purchased the tape. The rug has not shifted once since applying the tape. I cant tell if there will be residual glue if the rug needs to be removed because once I initially laid the rug, it stuck so well I couldn't even make minor adjustments. Several months in, this product appears to be very durable through mopping/wet conditions.

Boy does this stick. I use it to hold down a small rug in the bathroom and it DOES NOT move. When you need to pull the rug up for washing, the tape will pull up either by using a planting knife or a paint scraper.

This tape does not hold my rug down. My rug is not thick nor is it very large

I have 2 separate runners and wanted to combine. This tape adhesive made it so easy. Gave the runners a new look. Very happy with results and the hold. Highly recommend!

This tape was just disappointing until it turned into a nightmare. I used it (a good amount of it) to secure an area rug in a carpeted room. Within hours the area rug was bunching up again. The tape had no positive effect on it whatsoever. So I bought a no-slide rug mat, moved all the furniture out of the room (again), and then attempted to remove the tape from the carpet. It's not happening. At all. This rug tape is advertised as "easy to remove," yet it is virtually fused with my carpet. I'm sure I'll eventually find a way to remove it, but I hardly have time to go through that process. Do yourself a favor and stay away. This product is nothing more than a grim and regrettable fiend.
