They are snug, but I think I would have been fine with my normal size of 13. I bought these because I liked the look of them, I won't be skateboarding in these as I'm a 30 something and don't want to break my legs, with that said I don't see these lasting that long scraping across grip tape all day as there really isn't much extra padding where you would scrape your foot to do an Ollie. I bought them, because (A) I needed new shoes, (B) I recently started long boarding, and (C) they are very trendy looking. These shoes are very simple (no frills) and clean looking. I love how the Adidas logo is essentially 3 stripes instead of a giant Nike check or lots of wording. These shoes look and feel great and work very well for long boarding. There is not much padding or arch support, so they would probably start to hurt your feet if you were on them all day. However, I'm sure you could put a nice foot sole in them. Plus, I got these shoes for $30!!! I would have paid $60 for them!!! The Grey and White looks so good! I typically wear size 12-13 depending on the brand of shoe. Size 13 is sometimes a little too big, whereas size 12 is typically too small. 12.5 is my go to, but a lot of companies don't offer 12.5. I ended up going playing it safe and went with a size 13. The 13 is just a hair too big, but that's ok, because a 12 would have definitely been too small. I know that a 12.5 would have fit perfect. In my opinion if you wear a size 12, then get a 12. If you wear a 13, get a 13.
