My BBQ hadn't been washed for a year. We just placed aluminum foil over it and burned it off but it never got real clean. I have never used a cleaner for a BBQ before so I can't don't know if its better than others, but it took 4 applications with the use of a medium soft brass wire brush with a blade scrapper (by rubbermaid). It looks almost new except for some stains that I lost motivation on. I would suppose that it would clean up much easier if I hadn't waited a year to work on it. The cleaner didn't hurt my bare hands, but kept washing them off. There was no obvious bubbling, it just softened things up for the brush. I gave it 5 stars since I have nothing to compare it too. Was kinda expecting some bubbling, but nope.

Excellent! Works as advertised. Other reviews may be too "rosy", you do need to wait 5 minutes or more, and you will need two or more passes, but this is way better than other commercially available products. Would buy again.

My BBQ has not been cleaned in a long time and was in great need of a full cleaning. After seeing how much nasty came off using this product I will definitely be doing annual cleaning after winter. Worked really well on loosening and softening the dirt and grime up. Have not had a chance to compare it to anything else but I did see a large section of cleaners at the local home improvement store. There are a lot of warning when using this product so you should probably get gloves to use it with. Also, the spray trigger broke... maybe because I am so strong (or cheap plastic). Good thing I had some empty spray bottles sitting around or I would have been really mad. Had to dump it into the generic spray bottle to start the cleaning.

This is the best cleaner for greasy messes EVER!!! I mostly use it in my kitchen for stove top, pots and pans, or anywhere that oily, greasy messes occur. You will not be disappointed.

Of course we all want every evidence of food removed, but this does as good a job as any--along with a putty knife!

We have tried many grill cleaners and we found this one to work the best. With little effort our grill was sparkling. It also works great on cleaning the bottoms of fry pans.
