Kids enjoy getting a sharp pencil on their own. But, they also find any excuse to use it. They break their pencil on purpose or they turn it until the one they think they want comes out. Product nice. It didn’t take them long to figure out they could open it a different way to get a pencil. Grr

Sorry I purchased this. It came in a box clearly labeled "straw dispenser". They included some random number 2 pencils from Staples and Dixon. Those pencils don't work with this straw dispenser. I gave it two stars because it's a creative idea and I did get it to work with pencils that are smooth and round. They just should have been included with the order instead of the regular pencils which rendered it useless as shipped. It will be cute once I decorate and it will serve the intended purpose in my school library.

Unfortunately, it came in freight damaged. Hole in the side of the shipping box and side panel was broken. We have re-orded and are waiting for the new one to arrive. As a product, it was quite interesting and we liked the idea of decorating it the way we wanted.

I bought this for my daughter who is a 2nd grade teacher. You have to put your own pictures on the box, but it is darling for the kids.

Pencils get jammed ALL the time. Kids don’t even try to use it the “right” way anymore

This will be great in my classroom for kids to buy a pencil as my high schoolers never have something to write with
