J-B Weld 32329 Ultimate Black RTV Silicone Gasket Maker and Sealant - 3 oz. - Black

The ULTIMATE black is the best working and curing product I have ever used from any RTV manufacturer. It smooths on like soft butter with no clumping, excess cleans off easily, and it cures into a true rubber-like material. It makes great gaskets and sealer. The only other RTV product I buy now is the extreme high-temperature red or copper. J-B Weld Ultimate Black is not formulated for high-temperature use on vehicle exhaust headers and connections.

This stuff works better than epoxy.

I used this on this for a valve cover gasket and it worked alright. The tube basically blew out the back end when squeezing so be careful. But other than that it was fast easy and dried quick, which is what I needed. It’s as easy to remove as most siliocine caulkin. And it stuck pretty good. You get a decent amount per tube. More than you could ever need for 1-3 jobs. And the color was what I needed, but if you’re using this like you should, the color should matter as it’ll be hidden for the most part. Over all, it’s good but I which the actual tube it’s held in was More durable, no reason it should bust open just from squeezing it. But the size is good, you get a lot of it.

Works well, it's good quality silicone so should last not a gigantic container so keep it in mind if you have a large area to apply. Also if you try to squeeze the tube to strongly you'll pop the tube seams. Super water resistant and good consistency.

The stuff works. I used it to glue black rubber soles back onto a pair of clogs and it’s holding solidly!

The sealant & adhesive works great. However, as usual, after the first or second use, you'll find the cap is cracked and the top half-inch of the tube is dried out. The only way to salvage what's left is to poke a hole on the bottom of the tube and enjoy your last use. This J-B Weld Black Silicone isn't the only tube this happens with. It's more than a coincidence when this happens with almost all gooey stuff that comes in tubes. I believe the caps are designed to break so the contents will dry up and we'll have to buy more stuff. The best thing to do is after you use this stuff for the first time, is to cap it right. Perhaps put a small piece of a plastic bag over the opening before screwing the cap back on. Maybe steal the cap from your toothpaste tube and see if it fits. Good luck.

It's nice no smell too much and bonds very fast

I was trying to find a Cheap way to seal the back of my window on my car as the seal around my back window was non-existent and my dealership refuses to fix it even though I bought it this way. Without it costing me an arm and a leg, I am sure this stuff did the trick.. Their was no leakage my number one concern was the chipping and it turning into rust. This 100% did the trick! It has rained and pour since I put this on and its still intact. Love this stuff!
