Great saw with proper set up
Saw worked great for cutting up a concrete slab in the drive. The saw blade makes a huge difference in how efficiently you can cut concrete but you do need to take your time. Things you need in addition to a good blade: 1. Must have at least a 20 amp circuit 2. Must use a 12 gauge extension cord 3. A small flexible hose to attach to saw 4. Sut off valve connected near quick connect on saw to control water flow I did have issues with the breaker in the house getting tripped when trying to force the saw. The safety shutoff by the plug on the saw will overheat if you use less than a 12 gauge cord and are working in the sun. If this happens then you need to let it cool off. Tool shuts off as a safety feature and will not work again until it cools down I had issues with the tool not working after shutting off. I went to the hardware store and bought a new 100' 12 gauge heavy duty cord and never had an issue again. The cost can run about $.75 to $1 per foot. I also had the quick connect come free because the hose I was using was too stiff and would pull on the hose attached to the tool. I used one of those expanding hoses and didn't have an issues. The shutoff valve near the tool was essential in controlling water flow and shutting off the water when I needed a break. Use the wet saw can be a huge mess but controlling water flow can help mediate some of that. This saw is not super light but it is lighter than those with an engine. Having no fumes also made this tool a plus. It also has an adjustable depth gauge and wheels to help managing smoother cuts. If you are only cutting concrete on occasion or indoors then I would recommend this product. I have used this on wall stone and pavers but it doesn't cut at a perfect 90. Large blade can flex and cuts can be 1/16 off.

A Cut Above the Rest!
I recently purchased the Stark Electric 16" Concrete Cutter Saw, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This saw has exceeded my expectations in so many ways, and I'd like to share my positive experience with it. First and foremost, the price of the Stark Electric 16" Concrete Cutter Saw is fantastic. It's an incredible value for the money, especially when you consider the quality and performance it delivers. In comparison to other concrete cutter saws on the market, this one is a real steal. I was amazed at how affordable it was, and it didn't compromise on quality. Speaking of quality, this saw works like a charm. I also invested in a Makita E-02543 16" Diamond Blade to go along with it, and together, they cut through the concrete as if it was butter. The blade is sharp, and the motor is powerful, making even demanding tasks a breeze. I used it to cut a 38" x 86" hole in my 10" thick foundation to put in a door, and it handled the job with ease. One thing to note, though, is that you should ensure you are running the saw on a 30-amp circuit. I made the mistake of initially trying to use it on a 20-amp circuit, and it kept tripping the breaker. Once I switched to a 30-amp circuit, I had no further issues, and the saw ran smoothly without any interruptions. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the Stark Electric 16" Concrete Cutter Saw. It offers great value for the price, works like a pro, and the only minor hiccup can be easily addressed by using the right amperage circuit. This tool, along with the Makita Diamond Blade, made my foundation-cutting project a breeze, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and affordable concrete cutter saw.

Very good product for the price
Bought this to cut my 8” poured concrete foundation to install four egress windows. Works well but you need to go slow. The motor claims to be 3200w which is almost 27 amps - I was skeptical at first but now I’m a believer. If you load the motor down too much it *will* pull more than 20 amps. I tripped my 20 amp breaker many times to get though the job. There is a red light on the handle which blinks when the motor is getting loaded (I think - the documentation says nothing about the purpose of this light) to give you some warning. Keep the cutting slow and you can go a good while before tripping the breaker. Needless to say a 20 amp circuit and 12 gauge extension cord is a must. I ran a temporary 20 amp circuit with a high quality 20 amp outlet just to run this saw and still tripped the breaker several times. A hose shutoff valve is a must but it does not come with one. Order one with the saw if you don’t have one. You’ll thank me later. The tube that connects to the guard also does not come with a hose clamp and can slip off while cutting. I put a hose clamp on it and it was fine thereafter. The saw is also damn heavy which makes sawing vertical surfaces a workout (and more likely to overload the motor because you naturally want to rest it against the wall). Much better than renting because you can take your time and do the job on your schedule. As mentioned, the documentation sucks but that’s typical for a Chinese product. Some have noted that the guard is cheap, which is true, but it gets the job done. Definitely worth the price for the occasional DIY user. I would be cautious if you intend to use it professionally.

Great saw but know it's limits!
As you probably know this thing pulls a lot of power and should be run on a 30amp circuit. But nobody has that so I took my chances and ran it on a 20 amp circuit. Do NOT use an extension cord smaller than 12 gauge. 10 gauge is better. I had 90 feet of 4-5" thick concrete to cut. This baby worked great. I tripped the breaker about 10 times before I figured out the right load to put on it. It took me 4 hours to put the saw together, gather my crap, make the cut, and cleanup. There was about 3 hours to cut the 90 feet. The last hour I didn't trip the breaker. I got a quote of $500 by a specialist to cut the section. That price seemed fair but I figured for less could buy the saw, a blade, and do it myself and have a saw when I was done. I'm glad I did. Saw does not come with a blade. Buy a good one!!! Don't buy a cheap blade. I bought one on Amazon that was $120 and was super pleased with it. The better the blade the less the saw has to work. Don't skimp on the blade!!! This is the blade I used on Amazon https://amzn.to/4anyuUT Pro tip. Before you start put a hose clamp on the water line as shown in my picture. Seriously just do it. For those who don't, enjoy the shower you will be getting! It is critical you use water when cutting. The water setup worked great! Just put that hose clamp on. I really liked the rollers on the back. That made it really slick to operate. I have no idea how long this saw will last. But for me it was perfect and I expect to get more use out of it.

Impressive saw for the money
I really didn't expect too much for the price I paid for this concrete saw, but I only needed to cut through 9" of concrete about 36" long to install a new door in my new garage, so I was hoping it would get me through that as it would have cost me a $500 minimum to get a professional to come out and make the cuts. Well, I must say that this saw impressed me, especially since I purchased a nice blade that does most of the work. It cut through 9" of solid concrete like it was nothing, handled very well, was nicely balanced, and did what I needed. I used it to cut the concrete with a dry-cut saw blade, so I am sure that adding water would have made the experience even better. For the money, you can't beat this saw, but take your time, let the saw do its work, and it will do a nice job. I do recommend this saw and would purchase again if needed.

Poor quality for even light residential jobs
This terrible product was returned 3 days after I bought it. I got it to cut two square holes in patio concrete slab in my house to place new pergola posts in the ground. The assembly instructions were poor and I had to figure it out on my own, which was annoying but not enough reason for me to write a review. Then, I only used it for two hours (split over two days) to cut what it’s supposed to cut, a 5 inch thick concrete slab without rebar. It was a simple residential DIY job. Before I finished the second hole, the metal body snapped in half while running. The front half that has the blade, the arbor, and the blade cover hit my hand but I was lucky it stopped and no injuries occurred. I put it back in the same box it came in and returned it. The motor is powerful but I don’t understand how this tool had good reviews and more importantly, how it passed safety tests. There’s another review with photos identical to mine that show the saw broken at the exact same spot. Why is this still on the market and why isn’t the manufacturer answering their phone?

Awesome tool.
This thing is awesome. I put a chop saw blade in it and cut up an old dump truck. It may be the most dangerous tool I now own. Toss between this or the table saw. Great power I was worried it would work but I was surprised. It blows 15amp circuit breakers if you bog it but a 20amp breaker works great.

Heavy but good
I bought this to cut two egress window openings in my basement. It worked as advertised. It’s heavy and tiring making the horizontal cuts. I bought a ten gauge extension cord and a thirty amp breaker. No issues other than it over heated when I was pushing it too hard. My mistake. Let the saw do the work. I was happy with the power and price. I will use it again to cut a man door in the basement wall this summer. I had to make a double cut on an 8” wall from the inside and outside. Overall I’m very pleased with the saw. It’s already paid for itself twice over and I can use it on future projects. It’s definitely not a professional grade saw for a contractor who would use it every day. But at this price who could expect it??

Wow
Amazing! I don’t have enough good things to say about this saw. Renting a saw here is $200/day… + $50/day for a blade. Use a dedicated 20amp circuit breaker will only trip if you blind the blade significantly. Much better than dealing with fumes from a gas powered in your house. 16 inch blade is so much nicer than the standard 14 inch… gives an extra inch deep cut which is extremely helpful. Finished two jobs already which would have cost thousands to pay someone else to do, so this saw has easily been paid for within a week of use!
