I was hesitant though, when I saw in reviews people were buying 2 sizes smaller than what they normally wear. I can usually ignore those and buy the size I usually do in boots. Typically with dress boots I buy an 11 (I'm probably close to a true 10.5 but I wear plenty of 10's comfortably and 11 usually works best in boots for me without being too big ).Instead of buying on Amazon and then having to return them I went to a local western chain store and found this exact pair and tried them on. With the 11's I could have worn shoes *inside* the boots!! I bought a size 9 from Amazon (due to the chain not budging on price- their loss). Here's what I think. The Justin brand is actually a men's size with a ladies label. That's what I would normally wear in a men's shoe (9).Sizing aside, these boots are super attractive (the blue matched dead-on the blue of my bridesmaid dress) and were comfortable straight out of the box. I think they were still a little loose on one of my feet because I had a rubbing abrasion on one ankle (but I also didn't wear super thick socks so I'm blaming myself-and my odd feet for that). I wore them for well over 12 hours on their first day out of the box- for boots whose style usually requires a break in period I was impressed. I would have kept them but they were for a wedding and I'm not a brown boot kind of gal (I'm more Johnny Cash in that respect and would have preferred black). I am not joking when I say I had a half dozen women I know scrambling to buy them from me and almost had them sold at the reception (if they had fit her she would have- I did have them sold the next day).Overall best pair of boots I've worn for 1 day ever! :-) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love these boots! *by R***N on March 4, 2014* I ordered a pair a couple years ago, but they were suede and I wore them out, so I ordered a pair of the same style and size, but these azer not suede however, I found that because I purchased what is titled as the same boots a couple years ago amz would Not let me leave a review of the latest ones I bought. So I'm re doing this, as the most current boot, the Justin boots I just bought in the same design, (not suede however) in size 8m. I ordered a half size larger, as I did the last pair..but these are not as loose, and they don't look exactly like the photo in the ad because the foot section is dyed a really dark while the uppers is as shown. I don't mind, maybe someone just got a bit too much pigment, but I figure they will get worn etc and also be more comfy as I wear them. They are not too small, so that really isnt a problem. I need to break them in.In sandals other shoes, Im a 71/2. I have a pair in bladck with similar design by Justin Boots I get a lot of compliments as well. And another pair with a varying design in Justin Boots in a darker brown. So I love them. Just buy half size large if you have a wider than average foot, and in wide, not B. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good looking boot *by N***W on October 2, 2013* I have to wear shoes with a wide toe box (bunions) so most styles of boots are off limits. I was looking at FatBaby's and square toe boots. I chose this boot because I prefer the look of it and it would be a better boot for the riding lessons I am beginning. It also came in a wide which is what I need. It is definitely too long if you go by where your toe ends in the toe box but that is necessary to get the wiggle room for my toes. I bought two sizes - my usual size and a half size larger. I am keeping the larger size one as it is the most comfortable when wearing a good boot sock. They feel as good on my feet as any other closed in shoes I wear. I was concerned the heel might be too tall to be comfortable but it wasn't. It is a pretty design boot and the leather seems like it will be durable.
