Nice and quality and holds the jack well. Installed on a Jeep gladiator and it fit.

Didn’t come with any instructions. Utilize the pictures from Amazon, but it’s pretty self-explanatory. Biggest concern was whether the windshield washer would still reach the windshield and they do just ensure that you mount the jack correctly. I wish the bolts were a little longer then I would’ve been able to drill a hole through and put a locking pin. The hardware had been all black. It would’ve blended better but that’s minor.

The install was pretty simple (no instructions but pretty self explanatory or Google for install) and as another review mentioned, the painted bolts on the hinges were pretty tough. I also had to heat them with a blow torch but other than that... pretty straight forward. I mounted in the opposite direction as I like the jack sitting close to the windshield than over the hood but either way works. Just a matter of preference. I may turn them around as the way they are now, I might have to remove the mounts to open the hood. Not sure if that's a big deal or not. Overall very pleased with the mounts and a great price.

Didn't work on front door as advertised. Waste of my time. Could not open door all the way when mounted, unless mounted real low which would hit obstacles on the trail. Also couldn't use brackets and washers and strap. No instructions. I guess the Chinese couldn't figure out how to install either.

DO NOT tighten the bolts that the jack sits on without some planning. First time we tried, it really bent the mount. If you use an 18” pipe wrench to secure the mount, you should be able to get them tight.

The problem with these mounting brackets is that they're a little too wide to sit flat into my 2008 Jeep Wrangler's hood hinges properly. You can either grind them down to fit or do like I did a place a few small washers between the bottom of each bracket and the hinge. Otherwise this kit seems well made. I used a small rifle cable lock to keep my hi-lift jack from walking away from me one day and these brackets offer plenty of holes to attach the lock.
