Works great! My original one was accidentally tossed out during a move which forced me to find a replacement I use it to clean the inside of my SUV and my dining room chairs. You won't be disappointed.

How do you loose a big hose and suction head this big? I don't know but I did it. Thank goodness this is available as a replacement. Worked fine, stairs got cleaned and the rest of the carpets too. As per other reviews, the suction head is a solid black so you don't get to watch the water being sucked back up it into the tank. If you need to replace your big green machine upholstery and stair attachment, this works fine.

great it's what I expected to get and works well

I give this hose a 4.5. It is rugged, fits exactly like the original hose and works perfectly. I've been doing weeks of cleaning dog pee out of our carpets (old dog, since passed away), and was pushing on the old nozzle so hard I cracked it. This replacement is perfect - same length, same fit, no leaks, and cleans wonderfully. The only difference with the original hose is that the original head had clear plastic on the front. This is useful to see when you stop scooping up water/soap from the carpet and can move on. Were it not for that difference, I'd give it a 5. I'm fanatical about cleaning carpet. After soap I will do to rinses with a lot of water to make sure I get down in to the pad. But I also want to make sure I get every bit of water out of the carpet and pad. The Green Machine with this hose does the trick.

I went with this replacement hose because it is a Bissell and figured it would perform like new. It did, and I am glad I spent a little more on this one than a third-party hose. I did not want to guess whether a third-party hose would work as well as an OEM one. Sometimes a third-party product is a good value and sometimes not. I just wanted peace of mind and to get the carpet and upholstery job done at my house.

Unfortunately, my experience with the Bissell Commercial Hose & Upholstery Tool has been disappointing. This is now the third time I’ve used the hose, and the handle broke again—right at the same spot, just below the trigger where the screw is located. The first one broke after cleaning two mattresses, and this replacement broke while I was cleaning the carpet in a vehicle. Despite not putting much pressure on it due to my arthritis, the tool still couldn’t hold up. Some users on other platforms have mentioned a possible design flaw, and I’m starting to believe they might be right. At this point, I’m going to try ordering it again in hopes of finally getting my couch clean, but if it breaks once more, duct tape may be my last resort. It's frustrating, but it still does the job when it works. Hopefully, future iterations improve the durability.
