So far this is working well. I can’t say how long the batteries will last or how dependable it will be, but I am happy with my purchase. Fairly easy to program, just need to follow the instructions. One review mentioned the fingerprint reader can be opened by their dog and this is true if you don’t change the default password/fingerprint. Once changed only a registered fingerprint or password will open the lock. The batteries are replaced by removing the front plate, no need to open the safe. One issue I had is the front mounting plate. The screw holes are aligned to mount horizontally and my safe has vertical holes. I had to drill new holes in the mounting plate. A better design would be to have additional holes to support different mounting options.

Biometric fingerprint Did not show up with any wiring or instructions and was not compatible with my safe so far. I am going to ask them for their recommendations and see how it goes.

made a video but it's too long to upload. I'll post it on YouTube. After enrolling my fingerprint I loaded up my safe and then found out that any of my fingers would unlock it. Then I tried my wife's fingers and she could unlock with any finger, same with my children. Not the least bit SAFE. Out of curiosity, I placed one of my dog's foot pad on the "fingerprint" reader and it unlocked the "safe" as well. DO NOT BUY this or any "safe" that it uses this "locking mechanism.
