Thai Hom Mali Premium Jasmine White Rice - 5kg

I love this rice and use all the time in my rice cooker. The flavour is very good and the smell while cooking fills the kitchen. The large size is the most economical way to buy and stores well in a container. This is the third bag I've purchased this year...love it

I am no rice connoisseur but ever since I received my Zojirushi rice cooker I have been trying a number of different types of rice. Having purchased the rice cooker from YumAsia, I also bought this rice along with other rice varieties they sell. Now this rice is far more superior to anything I’ve tried that you can purchase from Sainsbury’s or Tesco. The texture is not too sticky and the taste is delicious along with a nice aroma. Now this could be due to my rice cooker producing perfect rice after an hour or so of cooking, as how you cook the rice makes a big difference on the end result. But so far this is my favourite rice. YumAsia also does a brown Jasmine rice from the same part of the world this white Jasmine rice is grown which is just as delicious.

I like buying in bulk as I eat rice every day and You Asia Hom mali always arrives on time with my subcriptions. I find Thai Hom Mali Jasmine rice much easier to digest than basmati. This particluar brand Yum Asia, is an excellent quality rice, it cooks up well, moist yet separates with just the right stickiness. The packaging is very sturdy and it has a press seal closure after opening, making it easy to store. Yum Asia Hom Mali always arrives on time with my subscriptions

Es la tercera vez que compro este arroz en concreto. Tiene un sabor, una textura y un aroma increíbles, nada que ver con los arroces que se encuentran en supermercados gourmet. Es importante tener en cuenta siempre las proporciones. De poco sirve usar un arroz de esta calidad si no se acierta con la cantidad de agua (aunque eso también depende del gusto de cada persona). Muchas veces es cuestión de ensayo y error. En mi caso, después de tres paquetes, he descubierto que la proporción ideal para lograr una textura perfecta es 1:1,25. Así queda suelto en su justa medida, ideal tanto para comer con palillos como para acompañarlo con salsas sin que pierda jugosidad. Como el paquete trae bastante cantidad, y aunque viene con cierre hermético, prefiero dividirlo y envasarlo al vacío. Así me resulta más cómodo y se conserva perfectamente sin perder ninguna de sus propiedades.

Pour être honnête j'ai pas vraiment senti une grand différence avec certains riz plus classique qu'on peut trouver dans le commerce. Il est bon, mais rien d'incroyable.
