This file is pretty and effectively smooths my nails. I use the rounded end to push back cuticles. My nails are very soft, and snag easily. This tool helps me keep them in good shape. I like the sheath that stores the file and keeps it from breaking in my purse.

This file is the real deal. I was initially unsure if I should order a glass file at all, since I'd had one many years ago that simply got "used up" - which is exactly what's not supposed to happen to glass files. Ever since then I had just used emery boards, but those obviously get used up and thrown away all the time, plus they're supposed to be not so good for your nails. Everybody says glass files are so much better. So I did the research and found out that you simply have to make sure the glass file you buy is laser-etched, then it won't get used up. I've had this file for almost a year now, and it's been amazing. It works really well, more gentle than an emery board while still taking the nails down and shaping them just as easily. And it does NOT get used up. You simply have to wipe it off or rinse it under some water. Amazing! I always keep it in it's little plastic case, which protects it just fine. If you are unsure if you should buy this file, just try it!

Amazing! The glass is so gentle yet effective on the nail, is easy to clean, and it lasts. I have been using this file for a little over a year- worth every penny. I am buying one for my mom's birthday. My only issue: the plastic case will melt/soften if left in the sun or in a warm room. I had a sunroom that was VERY warm (maybe 80 degrees F), and this is where I kept my nail file. Now, if you let the case cool, it won't be an issue. There may be some deformation. However, I tried opening the case, and the tension caused the case to completely deform. I was able to mold the case back a bit, but it definitely looked odd and didn't close perfectly. I no longer use the case, and I use another form of storage. The case may be cheap and lower quality, but the glass file is great- highly recommend.

I purchased several of these nail files years and years ago when you could only get them through the official website and they were not well known (at least in the US). Loved it, it was awesome. Recently, I dropped it and it broke, totally my fault. This was ordered as a replacement and while overall I don't love everything about it as much as the original, it is functionally better. The glass is a little thinner than the one I had before, I don't love the little meal plaque with the brand name, and the case that is provided is not well thought out at all. The very thin file knocks around and isn't safely or securely held by the case - it's a lazy cheap case that just makes the file look better in the Amazon listing, it will break the file if dropped or jarred while in the case, so it it's not a good solution in terms of protection and long term care. But the file itself performs very well, even better than the other glass file I had before. That one was a little more dull. This one is wonderful to use. It's very effective and my nails are much happier and healthier using this file. Love, love, love that. I would say go for this brand of nail file for sure, but if you can find it elsewhere with a different case I would do that. This particular presentation with the case pictured is a gimmick to get you to choose this seller and I just think that's a little gross. Giving 5 stars because you're probably here for the nail file itself which is definitely excellent ;)

I love this nail file and it has really improved my nails. They no longer crack and split on the sides. I have had this nail file for a few months now and it shows no signs of wear and tear.

The first glass nail file I had used, I purchased on HSN which was very expensive. This one is reasonably priced and works just as good. It is they only type of nail file I will use now. Lovely blue, and the case is likewise. I had noticed that other's said cheap case. I myself believe it is a nice case, but the file and the case has to be used gently. It you use it with care, you will enjoy the file and the case.

Yo limo mis uñas constantemente y ya había tenido una lima de cristal anteriormente, sin embargo había visto muchas que no tenían el cristal uniforme y no servían para nada. esta es excelente y lima perfectamente las uñas. Se las recomiendo a quienes nunca han probado una lima de cristal porque deja uun acabado perfecto a comparación de las limas comunes, sobre todo para el estilo de uña cuadrada.

The file is good and has not worn down after using it for months. I bought this to replace my more expensive glass file which broke and it has served me well in replacement. The case is great for storage and protects it.
