8" Range Stove Surface Burner Heating Element - Direct Replacement for Kenmore 325503

Pretty straightforward installation - pull out the old one, plug in the new one. Done. This element has fewer turns than the original element, but it still heats evenly and quickly. The local store has elements for more than twice the price as this fully functional element. It came within a couple of days, so the wait was minimal. I used it on an older Kenmore electric range.

Works great! good This fit my Kenmore 911.944.... electric range with spade type connectors. Most of the cheaper elements I see listed on Amazon are the screw-in type where the "plug-ins" are little loops of wire which are screwed into their receptacles on the range top. This element is the slide-in, tab, or spade type. It is meant to be pressed into place, without any fasteners. My element sits more level to the range top now that it has gotten hot a few times with a heavy pot on it.

Was easy to install. Works well. It is a little cheap looking compared to the original part, but it will do for now.

This part was advertised as "by Kenmore" and as a "Kenmore 8" Range ...." so I expected an OEM part. It does appear to be a well made replacement part mostly identical in important aspects.Spade lugs are not solid metal as in the OEM but are wire curved into a circle but they appear make good contact.The burner coils are a much more rounded profile that the "Half Flat" profile of the original. I will have to see if that difference in surface contact area make a difference in use.If you want a flatter burner check out the slightly more expensive listing and check out the pictures.

this item was a perfect replacement for the original element. i don't know if i just got lucky as there are seemingly hundreds of similar ones to choose from on amazon. may have a need to replace the other 8" element soon and would definitely purchase this again.

This is *not* the proper way to pack items so they do not bend (happened) or crack (they seem to work OK but I don't know if there are cracks}.----Follow-up, a few days later. They work fine, and sit level, so pans are on the stove properly. I did have to bend them back into alignment to fit them into the element sockets. I don't think the elements themselves cracked. Still not the way they should have been packed, though.
