This is my second one as the first one was getting a little grungy after two years of daily use. It held up well so I purchased this one. It fits snug to my iPad, giving it full protection. iPad awakes on opening and I can easily pivot between landscape or portrait with slots on the bottom to prop it up for reading. I think it was worth giving 5 stars based on price and it met my needs, looks nice, feels secure.

I've been using Fintie rotating cases for years, both on my last iPad and my current iPad Air. They protect it really well and make it easy to prop up and read a book or browse on a table, your lap, etc. It's not too thick and is easy to pop you iPad in. This one has a space to put your pencil to charge too. When you close it, your iPad will automatically turn off too, which is great. The material is a little tacky, so it's easy to hold. It does wear down with time and get smoother, but it won't be like jello in your hands.

I've had this case for about a year now and it is falling apart. The galaxy part is coming off basically peeling. This case however I use it for aviation and the 360 rotation is phenomenal. For what it is the price is fantastic, I just wish it would've lasted longer than a year. While a year is a long time, I have taken great care of it, it doesn't sit in the sun or anything of that sort and started peeling probably 3 - 4 months ago. Definitely a great case to get and have if you need one on a fantastic budget friendly price.

i’m between 2 and 3 stars…. my video shows all angles of the case, even laying fully open with the cover behind (which i didn’t see in other reviews). i have spent HOURS combing through amazon reviews for a good ipad case. the main things i was looking for was a closing strap, pencil holder and coverage/protection, easy touch id access, and a rotating stand for portrait and landscape view. you’d be surprised how hard it is to find one that checks off on all of that. i settled on this one because it had my “must haves”. but it wasn’t enough to keep it. so i ended up returning it :( what i liked: - the strap was great, nice and tight and secure - pencil holder is also very secure - touch id has easy access, not covered (some cases had too bulky of a border around the button and got in theway of the sensor. this one does not) - easy access to charging port - sturdy - easy rotation and solid (not flimsy rotation) - price point was okay and it got delivered overnight did not like: - main reason why i returned it: if you have your case fully open (cover flipped to the back behind your ipad), it’ll make creases which ruins the structural integrity of the ability for it to stand. because i keep the case open, when i try to stand it up, it falls backward and doesn’t stand at all. almost like you have to re-crease it or bend it just to get it to stand again. even then, the second you move it the ipad falls back down. - the ipad clicked in a little too easy into the case.. i’m just worried about the security of the ipad holding in there over time - your ipad isn’t fully covered. the ipad kind of sits in there rather than has protective bumpers if it drops. the top and bottom are basically completely open, not saving it from liquid/dust in your speakers - it doesn’t lay flat. this is probably why people complain about the peeling/cracking in a short time. i definitely expect cracking soon, especially because i tend to use my ipad fully open (cover on the back) most of the time. - it’s a tad bit bulky. i guess to be expected. and protects your screen. i just don’t find those thick bumpers necessary. and leaves a gap where your pencil is. - i wish there were prettier designs. i’m a van gogh fan which is why i went with this. but i’m also in my 20s.. i want a cool design lol. not something my mom would have. i guess you could just get a plain color and cover it with stickers for personalization. - the rotation is super loose so when it’s fully open, the ipad easily moves and swings - i dont see this having a long lifespan at all.
