It is a good workbook overall, but it needs a few changes.

Easy to follow
Very easy to teach and for students to follow and the instructions encourage independent learning. Easy science projects with each lesson using materials that honestly I have found around the house. I highly recommend this book and this particular company for homeschooling resources.

Brief science, not indepth full understanding of the topics
The book has a good selection of topics, However they are very brief and not detailed at all. The online video portion of it when it actually worked was just them reading the text, nothing more of detail. I Typically found a daily you tube video to go with it. My son did enjoy the the little experiments with it, and he could do it the lessons on his own. It's a briefing in science they will not become a scientist from this.

(Homeschool) We loved our last science book, so we needed another one to be just as awesome. This book meets that for us. They have vocabulary words, activities, and experiments. My child's favorite is experiments since he is really hands-on. The experiments aren't very over the top. They are realistic, and you can always add more in-depth experiments to the lessons given.

Perfect for our Homeschool
This has been a great book to include in our homeschool. It teaches the concepts they need to know without taking an hour to prepare. There are weekly hands on activities that use normal household items. Before getting this workbook, science was a subject that we didn’t always get to. Now we always have time for science.

Maybe too basic
The questions are a bit basic, and some of them are multiple choice with “yes” and “no” as the answer, The experiments look cute and some will be worth doing but for Grade 7 it’s pretty simple. I think we’ll still use it but I would not rely on this as a full instruction
