So soft. It goes up to 20. But 20 gets it so hot I can't keep it that high. I go to bed with it on 3 or 4. My dogs love it, I have to kick them off it. I think it last like 10 hours. The last blanket I bought lasted 4, that sucked.

I bought this for my son who is serving in the army and is stationed in Alaska. He says he is grateful to have this and uses it on most days as it is always so COLD there.

Here in northern MN, we are expecting 2 nights with temps of -30F and windchills nearing -50F. I always so look forward to getting in my pre-warmed bed. I love the softness and loved using this to warm up my bed. I turned it on 10 minutes before bedtime, enjoyed the warmth while reading for a while, then turned it off. Never left it on at night, never got to he point of washing it, never stepped on or crimped the heating element portions. It has just been on the bed the whole time since receiving it. After 33 days, this morning the control showed a blinking E. I unplugged it (both ends) for a couple of hours, nothing. Tried fiddling with the cord some more, plugging into an outlet instead of a strip etc. Nothing. It's basically dead, and 3 days past the Amazon return deadline. The worst part is my dad always gets me an Amazon gift card for my birthday in December. After much searching on a worthwhile item, this is what I chose. Disappointed, and now I'll have cold feet on top of it.

I bought two of these blankets. One in May, thinking I'd wait for freezin season and it's that now. This blanket threw an E3 error immediately. It would not "shut off" like the seller stated it would, it had to be unplugged, I tried two outlets. Now I have garbage for an electric blanket. I bought another one, wanna guess what happened with that one, E8, E8, E8, E8, E8, E8. That one is eligible to be returned and it is. But I am stuck with this piece of crap. Please don't be fooled by its prettiness. this is the worst blanket you could purchase. it's soft and useless. It's not an electric blanket, it's only a wirey blanket.

The blanket is so soft! And it immediately warms up when I turn it on. It was freezing a couple of weeks ago, and I used it safely throughout the night instead of cutting on my heat.

Keep my bed warm.
