The product works really good but the only thing is that it was leaking from the bottle when I got it. One of the bottles wasn't closed all the way that's why this happened.

Great Value on the Ogilvie Home Perm. I buy this brand every 6-8 months to use in my own hair because it lasts and gives my hair the fullness & body I need. This brand is easy to use. Ive depended on its consistency in quality for over 30 years.

Easy to use

I have used Ogilvie perms my whole adult life (I'm 59) and I was always pleased with them. Stopped for a couple years as I had a barter going with a local hairdresser but recently lost that and so I bought this. I am highly disappointed. I had no product in my hair and washed before perming. The solution heated up and stank so seemed it was working but when I unrolled a curl at 9 minutes there was nothing. I rolled back and went the full fifteen. Was scared to leave it any longer. I got no curl out of it, I mean nothing! It may have a slight bit more body but even that is questionable. I wrote the company which google told me was Helen of Troy, they wrote back to tell me it had been sold to a company called HRB, which I can not find a site or email for so my only recourse is leaving a bad review I guess. I'd be curious when it was sold to the new company and if thats when things changed because they always worked great when I used to use them. It's not even a matter of the money, it's $15, who cares. It's a matter of all that wasted time and nothing to show for it. Hope my review can save someone else the trouble

Did a good job curling my hair, BUT, it was missing the pre perm conditioner, step 1 and the cotton wrap. This didn't use to happen but does a lot now.

I love it. I’ve bought it previously but the last time I purchases on October 30. It did not come with the cotton that goes around the Head.

ALWAYS A GOOD QUALITY PERM

I have very fine and very straight hair. Every salon perm I have ever had was frizzy. I started doing it myself years ago and have always used Ogilvie. It takes an hour from shampoo to finish. A week after the perm I get about 1/2 inch trim and the curl is perfect. My complaint: in May, I bought two perm kits. I got ready to do the second one today and found that the small bottle of heat activator is empty. First time that has happened in at least twenty. Now have to wait to get another which is why I order two at a time. So I don't have to wait when I feel the need for emergency curls!!

I only received 3 plastic bottles solution. other perming materials are not included and there is no original box as like in the picture. How can i use the solution with out perming paper???

Works really good to my hard to perm Asian hair. Just follow the instructions and for sure you will save some bucks for doing your perms at home than going in a salon. RESULTS ARE LIKE PRO.

The shipment is already very bad, it takes forever to arrive. Then when I tried to use it (following instructions written at the box, at first yes it effect but the next day my hair return to its normal and gets extra drier too.
