**Q: Can you change out of Windows 10 S?**
A: Yes, and it will let you switch to Windows 10 Home.  I did this.  I am pretty sure that once you make the switch though, you cannot change back.

**Q: what's difference between window 10 home and window's 10 S ?**
A: It's more than just a device to drive business to the MS App Store. S-MODE is a walled garden, much like Chrome OS on Google Chromebooks. It locks down the OS to minimize security risks and the potential for harmful software downloads. The Surface Laptop GO was created for casual users, students and anyone who wants all the basics and none of the additional security or OS maintenance. With that said, S-MODE can disabled if the user finds it too limiting. There is no charge for the option but, it is offered as a one time, one-way switch to regular Windows 10 Home.

**Q: Does this have a backlit keyboard?**
A: Mandie at Microsoft said on 10/18/20 on the BestBuy site that it does not have a backlit keyboard.

**Q: Teclado en español ?**
A: El teclado no es en español. Igualmente no te la recomiendo es malisima . No carga , ni el servicio tecnico sabe que le pasa , no lo pueden resolver. NO LA COMPRES.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic little laptop

This is everything I'd hoped for in an ultraportable laptop. Super lightweight, easy to carry around, small enough to fit into a day bag, but still decently powerful. Having an SSD vs eMMC for storage and an i5 for a processor makes this feel much snappier than other similar laptops in this class. This also runs Linux almost perfectly, except for the fingerprint reader. My only gripe is the screen is a little dark when using this outside, but it's not unusable. Overall, highly recommended.
