This is Not your pocket light you grab to look in your closet for your lost shoe. This bad boy works great out side in wide open areas, it's great for searching for animals, rescues, shinning!! Beam is good for.5 mile or so. Shining fields with this is a breeze! The field button also a huge benifit. Wanna see something close up? Bam pull the trigger and the long range beam now lights up a close but wide area! Love that it's corded as all the good battery powered spot lights last only an hour on full then you have to recharge then for almost 4 hours, not with this bad boy, flip the switch and you're ready to roll. Don't have to worry about the battery.
