Great tool, even though expensive
Brilliant tool, albeit expensive. First use was to replace the brake pads and discs on my vehicle. Great for undoing the wheel nuts and various other bolts of the brake callipers and discs!

Very happy
I'm very impressed with this impact wren. All day working hard installing 6 inch pipe and only use one battery. My only concern is some off the sockets I've been using they get lose And fall. Is any problem with the anvil?

As a full time mech, good peace of kit
For the size it has plenty power. I have a DeWalt at work. 1/2 drive as well, but a massive heavy thing, this Makita is about 300 nm brake torque less, but the weight to power ratio, far throws the DeWalt to shame. Great tool, look forward to using it more.

Effortless
I bought this soon after buying a 1998 Range Rover. Far too many bolts have been in place for 20+ years and are almost welded on. So far I’ve used it a handful of times and it takes the bolt straight off. These have included suspension and steering dampers where the torque for the bolts is very high. This might be an expensive tool, but like the best ones it just works. Very glad I bought this and I’m sure to use it again in future.

Bigger than I thought
Looks well built and tough , a bit heavier and bigger that I thought but better than using the heavyweight models got on a Black Friday special for 165 pounds

IMPACT WRENCH BODY ONLY
I got this for my son as a xmas prezzie, only because he has all the other makita stuff that uses the same battery, but body only very expensive, with battery even more so... but I have not heard anything bad about it, thats why the 4 stars, I would never have bought it for myself, but its what he wanted... and it was xmas....
