Large Canvas Soft Bedding, Garment Storage Organizer Bag for Wardrobe, Oversize Breathable Soft Bags for Queen/King Size Blankets, Duvets, Beige

I was concerned to order this item after reading some reviews wherein people stated the product has a bad odor, but I decided to take a chance, as I wanted a storage bag of all natural materials that would breath. I specifically needed this storage bag to store my expensive European goose down comforter in a coat closet on the top shelf, utilizing vertical space as I do not have enough shelving to accommodate all my bed linens. Herein are some key points: (1) the item arrived in its own high-end slide lock plastic case which was easy to open and protected the product in the event the exterior shipping box/envelope were to be damaged. (2) there was no bad odor from the actual product or from the plastic case it arrived in. I am extremely sensitive to smells and in fact the only odor emanating from the product is extremely mild and in fact smells good. (3) I am not 100% certain that the material is flax and cotton because I rarely believe sellers, but I did look the bag over and the fabric is very nice and soft and does feel as if it is a cotton canvas. (4) the cut of the material, stitching, shape and so forth all appear to be well made and personally I was even impressed with the quality of the zipper handles. (5) I folded my queen sized Goose Down comforter up and placed it inside the bag and was impressed as there was room to spare and I could easily have fit a king sized Goose Down comforter in this XL size, so the XL size is very generous. Right now I am considering to buy a couple more of these and just wish Amazon sold other sizes of them as I am really happy with the product. As other reviewers may have noted the storage bag is not structured so if you don't fill it all the way up, it will have air space and can loose it shape but the upside to that is that it is pliable and you can mold it and easily fit into all sorts of spaces.

Sometimes you don't want something waterproof, you want something breathable -- this does the trick. Nice quality bags that (at least in the large size) accept multiple items or a big quilt, etc. I ordered these a few years ago and ordered more this year at a still-reasonable price.

I was able to put 3 king size comforters in this bag and zip it without the zipper breaking. Three king size comforters weigh a lot so if the handle ripped free I wouldn't not blame the bag's quality. I decided not to challenge the handle on its first use. The bag is too wide to put on a standard closet shelf but it fits fine when I placed it on the shelf on the side I would call it's "height". I swapped out comforters on the king sized bed about every 3 - 6 months so I will be able to test the zipper's longevity eventually and if the zippers last 5 or more cycles then I will raise my rating of it up to 5 stars. I don't think that this bag would fit under most people's bed when fully stuffed. It would fit under a bed if it were only half full but then it would be floppy and probably difficult to push around as would any other unstructured cloth bag.

Great storage! Of course the only thing maybe disappointing about this bag is no clear panel to see what’s in there. Zipper closes nicely! I have 2 bed standard pillows in there currently and one blanket with a little room left.

Updated Mar 2018 - As mentioned in my earlier review, I do like and recommend the bags. I did order 2 additional flax/cotton bags which arrived yesterday. Still had a slight odor and I'm will be washing them. The canvas and flax/cotton bags purchased earlier have no odor. Feb 2018 - I purchased both canvas and the flax/cotton bags. First 2 canvas bags and then within 2 weeks, 2 flax/cotton bags. As mentioned by other reviewers, bags are well made, soft sided, breathable, with no inside lining. Bags are shipped in a ziplock type bag. As for odor, both bags had a slight odor, not strong, but still noticeable. Also if you zip the bags closed and let it sit for a day, and then unzip it and smelled the inside of the bag, you do notice that the odor is a little stronger than just smelling the outside of the bag. The canvas bag had a slightly stronger odor than the flax/cotton bag when it first arrived. I aired out the canvas bag and after a week it still had a little odor, but much less than when it first arrived. Washing (as mentioned by other reviewer) did help, but it still has a trace odor. Since washing helped on the canvas bags, I washed the flax/cotton bags immediately and it also helped with the odor. The bags still have a really faint odor, but from my point of view, the bags are usable now. So I would recommend that you wash the bags immediately (inside out, zipper closed) if it has an odor. Inside out so that the metal zipper tabs are inside the bag so as to not strike your wash/dryer. Airing or air drying outside probably would help a lot vs airing inside your home. I do recommend the bags and intend to buy additional bags in the near future.

An absolutely perfect storage solution for quilts and blankets. Both plastic and cardboard boxes leach acid into the fabrics so are Not good for your good quilts! This is entirely heavy canvas and keeps them from harm. Good quality heavy fabric that is free of toxic dyes . Good durable zipper. They are large and have handles. Easy to use. Extremely good price! They are a win win perfect storage unit. Fast shipping. Wonderful seller.

Fabulously useful- sturdy and capacious

I have bought many storage bags of another brand here at Amazon that look very similar to this one. I needed a deeper one to store a guest room bed set and the other company didn’t offer one in a 12” depth so I researched several other brands and chose this one. I don’t dispute that the seller accurately calls it a “bag” however all of their product illustrations show it fully assembled and looking like a “soft box” leading me to believe this storage bag has rigid sides like most of the others and since it sells for more than most similar products I felt confident that’s the way it was made. I was surprised (and disappointed) that when I received it the entire thing was folded into the size of a magazine, and when I unfolded it all it is is literally a canvas bag. When you stuff bedding or anything else into it the bag assumes the shape of a balloon. I can’t imagine how anyone could end up with the perfect box-like shape their product photo shows. I believe they should be more honest in showing the product exactly how it really is. I give them points because unlike some other companies this bag is made of canvas, as described, and not that “non-woven” product that rips and falls apart. I also give them credit because as far as canvas bags go it is made pretty well. But I can’t rate them any higher than a 3 (average) because as far as canvas bags go this is priced way too high. If their product photo showed the way the bag really looks when full I wouldn’t have bought it.
