No smear no bleed pen. Good quality pen from a well known manufacturer. I ordered from the Sharpie store front on Amazon to make sure I got the right product. I ordered the extra fine .38 mm as a gift for someone who loved the pen the first time they used it. I thought it was worth the money and not expensive as a 4 pack. After having used the pen myself, I found that the pen is slow and scratchy when held vertically for printing and script but when held on an angle it’s a smoother writing experience. So do I always want to print in italics? No. Do I always want to hold my pen at an angle? I do already.

I really like these gel pens. They write smoothly, don’t smear, and the ultra-fine tip is perfect for neat writing. The ink is bold and consistent, making them great for everyday use. I would definitely buy them again.

I’m in nursing school and desperately needed something fine point. I had no idea these existed! The quality is a 10/10, the ink flows flawlessly just like the 0.7s. I will definitely be buying these again!!

I absolutely love these Sharpie S-Gel pens overall, but the 0.38mm ultra fine point is definitely thinner than I anticipated. Line width expectations: I tried the 0.7mm S-Gel pens previously and found them a little too thick, so I assumed these 0.38mm would split the difference. However, the line is much thinner than I expected - noticeably finer than a typical medium point pen. If you're used to standard ballpoint pens, this will feel quite delicate. Comfort & grip: The grip is comfortable and feels good in hand, even during extended writing sessions. The rubberized grip area provides good control without being too bulky. Performance: Despite the thin line, the pen writes smoothly with no skipping. The gel ink doesn't appear to bleed through paper, which is impressive for such a fine point. I also haven't had any issues with smearing, even as a left-handed writer (or if you tend to drag your hand across fresh writing). Value for money: The pack comes with 4 pens, which is nice for having backups. To be honest though, I only really needed 1 pen, so if you're not going to use multiples or share them, you might be paying for more than you need. That said, the price per pen is reasonable for the quality you're getting. Who this is for: If you love ultra-fine detail work, tiny handwriting, or filling out forms with small spaces, these are perfect. If you prefer a more standard line width for everyday writing, you might want to try the 0.5mm instead. Bottom line: Excellent quality gel pens with smooth writing, comfortable grip, and no bleeding or smearing. Just be aware the 0.38mm is truly ultra fine - great for precision work but potentially too thin for everyday note-taking depending on your preference.

These are my favorite pens, ever. I used to completely, 100% prefer ballpoints, but since I found these Sharpie S-gels, I have been converted to gels. The biggest reason I like these far better is two-fold. First of all, they write SO smoothly, I just love the way they glide across the page! And even more importantly, the tip is 0.38 points, which is even finer than the 0.5 I usually get, and that makes them perfect! I have always been a 'fine' point gal, preferring the 0.5 over the 1.0 and even over the 0.7, but since I found the 0.38, I have been spoiled, and I will never go back. In my experience, Sharpie has always had the best quality of markers and pens, and these are no exception.

I enjoy using these sharpie pens, they write Smooth and I will continue to buy them.

Great Oen

I am 42 years old, so I'm just the right age to stubbornly continue to write by hand when I'm able. And these are, without a doubt, the best pen I've ever used. I prefer a rollerball/gel pen to a ballpoint, and these write smoothly (with just enough of that tactile scratchiness one might expect from a rollerball), they DO NOT SMUDGE, and if you're using a higher-quality and thus thicker paper, they don't bleed, either, especially with the ultra fine point. I can't recommend this pen enough for anyone who enjoys a rollerball/gel pen. They're fantastic. I won't get another pen at this point, unless I literally have no other choice. (The 0.5 mm fine point is good, but I prefer the ultra fine point if only because I have very round, large handwriting, so it looks neater with the ultra fine.)
