Japanese Extreme Super Sour Lemon Flavored 3 Layered Intense Candy Challenge

Omg,these are so sour.The kids love them ! I enjoyed seeing their faces and seeing if they could hold out on the sourness of the candy ! A great party game .i purchased another bag,everyone loves the stages the candy brings .Sour,extreme sour then sweetened at the end.

So happy I can buy these. I’ve loved the sour and sweet lemon candy for over 30 years!

These have a very nice lemon flavor but also a very intense sour powder coating. I enjoy sour candies and used to eat bags of Atomic Warheads. These were quite a bit more intense than that. One or two was fine but the sour coating was too much for continuous enjoyment and even began to irritate my mouth. For the second half of the bag I found myself rinsing the sour powder off so that I could enjoy the rest of the lemon candy.

My daughter and I are sour junkies! I saw these on a TV show and decided to give them a try. The day they got delivered, 7 of us tried the Sour Candy Challenge". Only 1, a self confessed "weakling" couldn't hack it and reached for a napkin. To be honest, they aren't really that sour. You do get a nice 7.5/10 burst for the first 2-3 seconds. Unlike other sour candy however, there is a very faint sour taste throught the candy (if you aren't a biter). I kept hoping the sourness was leaking from the center and I would get a nice sour burst at the end, but I didn't. We all did agree that it is a really delicious tasting lemon candy. I would say it is probably the best hard candy I've ever had. It is a very natural lemon taste. Overall, they aren't as sour as I thought they would be. I do love the taste and the constant (but very light) sour throughout. If your looking for something that is going to make you squirm and make your teeth feel like they will fall out immediately then maybe this isn't for you. They are on the pricey side, but the flavor of the lemon is worth it!

These were wonderful! I'm always looking for real sour candies and have always been disappointed, until these. They are really sour at first, then that backs off a bit but it's still sour, just a bit less intense. I wish the bags were bigger. I will be purchasing more.

These candies are fairly decent lemon drops, but I wouldn't consider them all that sour. They aren't sour like a raspberry sour fizz bomb or the toxic waste candies. That being said, they aren't bad candies. The bag is approximately the size of a large candy bag at a truck stop, with approximately six servings (three or four pieces per serving). My only problem is that they aren't really good enough as a "sour challenge" candy to warrant buying them again. If I want lemon drops, I'll just get them from the local grocery or superstore.

Very disappointed. Was expecting these to be super sour. They are far from it. The sour lasts about 5 seconds. Then it’s totally weak lemon flavor. Original Lemon Heads are better than this waste of money.

Ich hab die Bonbons gekauft, nachdem ich sie auf Youtube in einem Video zu den sauersten Süßigkeiten der Welt gesehen habe. Sorry, das ist lächerlich. Die Bonbons sind wenige Sekunden sauer und danach süß. Enttäuschend. Sie schmecken durchaus gut, aber wenn ich einfach nur süße Zitronenbonbons lutschen will, bekomme ich die im Supermarkt und muss nicht aus Japan bestellen.

Starts off rediculously sour, then becomes sweeter after about 30 seconds. A great buy!

brought these as I LOVE sour sweets. was very dissapointed as these are supposed to be mega sour challenge sweets. Flavour was nice and they arrived on time. But yeah, if you know what toxic waste sweets are... these have nothing on them.
