My length discrepancy is about 1/2 inch. Before trying this one, I tried the other brand and it worked, the each layer is 1/8 and I had to use more pieces to where I want. With this one, I can use just two of them and since it comes with more pieces, I can put them in more shoes, which makes it very economical. It is very comfortable, repositioning is easy. When I am using just the silicone pieces, I put them under the insole called Summer Sole. (Summer sole doesn’t add any thickness to the insole but provide suede like feel that absorbs sweat. I have been using them for a while in all type of footwear such as sneakers, sandals. ) This heel riser sticks on very well and I don’t notice any shifting while walking. I have minor scoliosis and hip arthritis, which I am thinking originated from the uneven hip due to leg length difference. At first, the back muscles had to get used to with the even hip height and I had some discomfort at the end of the day. With this in my shoes, I can stand with both leg straight rather than one bend and it is comfortable. I am ordering the beige color one now but please bring back the black one.

I have scoliosis and wore corrective shoes as a kid with built in leg difference heels. I hated the ugly shoes. But these go in any shoe and are so comfortable. I use 2 in only my left shoe and I feel more balanced than I have in years!!

I bought to pad the impact on my knees and I think they do a great job.

These work great, so I plan to order more! They have allowed me to comfortably deal with leg discrepancy caused by scoliosis. The insert remains secure in my shoe and provides the support needed to compensate for my uneven legs.

These don't stick well. Did nothing for me. Didn't last very long either. I'm not sure if the pieces are supposed to be different heights but if so the difference is miniscule.

I have chronic SI issues because I have one leg shorter than the other. These gel shoe lifts fit perfectly in my athletic shoes. I just keep the lift in each pair of my shoes and I never take them out. These stay put and do not move around. The packaging says you can wash them easily, but I have not had to wash them yet. Each layer has an adhesive backing so you can stack each one of these to your desired height. The thickness of each pad is relatively thin therefore, you do not have to worry about having your lift too tall. I might even suggest slowly stacking them overtime to prevent more back pain. I do like the non-slick surface on the top of the pads. I do wish they were a little bit longer. I will be looking on the market for longer inserts as well. Because these do not offer any sort of arch support just a heel lift.

These are better than what a Drs office provides! Silicone is sturdy yet gives enough to not cause pain after Achilles insertion surgery
