Fits the 3DIO mic perfectly, look no further!
Happy tingles for any 3DIO mic owners! Here's the stand you need! So as many know, the 3DIO mics come with no stand, but this one? Perfect! Its nice and heavy so it can hold up the massive microphone no problem, and the thread size is exactly what's needed! Its also affordable! So after dropping 400$ on the mic, you don't have to cry at your bank account when purchasing the stand! One draw back I had is that you have to really *force* the base onto the pole part of the stand in order to screw it in, to the point that I worried it came stripped. I'll still rate it 5 stars since its a small complaint, but my husband had to strong arm the thing on.

Sturdy desktop mic stand
I use this on a small table to record my acoustic guitar. It is very sturdy, and the base is weighed nicely to keep it well planted on the table. One thing that would be nice to add: a flush mount riser so that the mic clip can attach right at the stand. For my purposes that was the ideal height. I made some 3D printed spacers and adapters to accomplish this.

Great desk mic stand
My wife and I have a podcast and we use this stands...they look great and they are a great size for a desktop option. My only complaint is that I wish they were just a 1/2" - 1" taller simply because the XLR cord coming out of the mic (Shure sm7b) has to bend a little since it points straight down. This is just because of the mics we use so it probably wouldn't be a problem with other microphones. It's also worth noting that it doesn't affect the sound of the mic but it's just a tight fit and it would be nice to have a littl more room there.

Works great for Sennheiser Profile microphone
This stand is great for the Sennheiser Profile microphone. It's a similar footprint to the base that comes with that microphone, but increases the height of the microphone significantly to get it closer you to your mouth. For me, this allowed me to raise the Sennheiser to a height that's just out of my web cam frame. If you do use this with the Profile, just know that's a threaded insert you can take out with a coin to make the threading of the microphone match the size of the threading on this base. The base is weighted well with a soft pad around its perimeter. The height adjusts smoothly and quickly. I'd describe the microphone stand aesthetic as simple and utilitarian.

Sturdy, but with initial hiccups
This stand is very stable. I'm using it with a Blue Yeti microphone mounted on a Blue Radius Shockmount with a Blue Pop Filter, which is a rather heavy combination. I first tried mounting the combo on a On Stage DS7200B Adjustable Desk Microphone Stand, Black , which I bought for its height-extension ability, but the entire setup was front-heavy. While it wouldn't completely fall over, a slight nudge would make it start tipping over; I didn't feel safe using that stand. This Samson stand, while lacking the height adjustment capabilities, does not have that problem. It is simply much heavier and the base is wider. I have to dock a star for two reasons. The first is that the vertical metal rod has a sticker on it that leaves super-sticky residue when you peel it off. The "On Stage DS7200B" had the same problem, but the case there was much worse: there were two stickers instead of one, the stickers were bigger, and the residue was even stickier, to the point that it was impossible to get off without solvents. I didn't have to resort to solvents on the Samson stand, but despite being super careful when peeling off the sticker, I still had to spend a good 20 minutes cleaning up the leftover gunk; it is a strong residue. The second reason is that the bottom of the base has a circular ring of rubber which only comes half installed; the strand of rubber is split in half and "derails" from the inset near both endpoints, so only about 3/4 of the strand is in the ring. The rubber strand is actually glued to the base in this way, and when I first saw the situation I thought I had gotten a defective product. You are forced to grab both ends of the strand, pry them from where they are glued, and push them into the inset. Unfortunately, this ALSO leaves behind sticky residue! I bought two stands, and both of them came this way, so I don't believe my experience is a freak incident. In short, the stand itself is great, but it did give me a couple of headaches.

Solid Base Blue Yeti and Radius II
It's surprisingly difficult to find a desktop stand, or otherwise for the Blue Yeti, more so if you plan on using the Blue designed Radius II. This stand seemed simple enough to avoid any real problems, assuming the base was stable. At 6.25 in; (~15.9cm) in diameter and 2.7lbs (~1.23kg) the base is indeed solid enough to support this beast of a microphone. The base itself could probably be a bit heavier as there is room underneath, but at some point it would just be silly. There is a generous dense foam footing running the entire perimeter of the base to prevent scratching. It's fairly thick and slides nicely along my desktop. The threads are very nicely machined on both ends of the stem, easily connecting to both the base and the shock mount. The only real downside is that there are no height adjustments at all, but I figured that was the main reason this would work without presenting any tipping hazards. Thankfully, the final stack height happens to work for me with my setup. All in all, if you're willing to sacrifice flexibility this will definitely hold your mic for a good price.

Works for blue yeti microphone
Got this for my blue yeti mic, previously had a boom arm that I couldn’t use for a new desk and needed a new solution. The base is very weighted which is good to offset the heaviness of the yeti mic so there’s no concern about it tipping over. Very pleased, as I looked for awhile for a desk stand to replace the boom arm.

Buon supporto

Perfect for Rode
I don't usually read reviews that start with "I just received this and it's really good" because I like to hear about the experience of someone with knowledge of the product who has tested it over a long period. But this is a really simple and solid piece of equipment, so there is nothing to go wrong with prolonged use. I was delighted with my Rode USB microphone's performance, but disappointed with the flimsy plastic tripod stand that kept tipping over -- and i only got that yesterday. By contrast, this stand is heavy, it doesn't move, and the heavy microphone stays put. The stand has a soft ring underneath that protects my desk without having to put a cloth underneath, and, just as important, the ring grips the desk so that the base of the stand does not slide. I am grabbing the stand now and trying to move it sideways. It doesn't budge at all. I have to lift it. Don't be put off by the low price: this is a really good stand that feels like it will last a lifetime. If it didn't, it wouldn't break the bank to replace it, but I don't expect to have to do that. This is a totally unsolicited review; I am not getting any reward of any kind. I am grateful for a product that does what it says on the box and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
