Needed for Di2
It’s a Di2 wire, needed for installing a Di2 component system. Make sure when ordering wires that you go one side larger than you think you’ll need. The connectors are solid and snap into place. I would strongly suggest getting the tool to make sure the wires are seated properly. You will definitely need the tool to disconnect the wires to avoid damaging them.

Good Quality but Measure Carefully
I got the D-Fly wireless unit for my Di2 bike, and I wanted to install it internally. I saw an article online, and the guy used a 350mm to install the device in the top tube of the bike frame, and I ordered 400mm to be sure. Unfortunately, on my bike it was short, and I could only reach the down tube. By the way, 400mm is from end-to-end including the plugs so measure accordingly. It is a great wire, and the Shimano TL-EW02 Di2 Wire Tool makes it easy to connect and remove these plugs.

Simply Shimano. It works and is reliable.
What can I say about this little cable? Well Shimano knows what it is doing, the cable works and does the job. The cables are super light and easy to use. However the only reason I took off stars was the price. Shimano knows that you dont have a choice to use any other cable with your pricey DI2 system and so they price these cables very high. Since these cables are very expensive make sure you measure very carefully before ordering. Then when you have a measurement that you think is right, order a longer length so you dont have to reorder, a little extra length adds very little weight and can easily be stuffed insight your bike frame.
