Question 1

I wear a size 10.5 (u.s.), i noticed that the shoes only come in full sizes.  does anyone know if it is best to go with the size 10. or the size 11.

I just received my pair today. I wear a size 10.5(US), and ordered a size 11 as was suggested. I'm using them for a different purpose, so it won't be a huge deal HOWEVER, they are too big, and I think the size 10 would likely be the better option to choose if you need a size 10.5.I even tried them on with my socks first, and they are still too big. Good quality shoe however, and for the price I'd say you're doing quite well choosing them.

I'm a girl. i hate the fact that just because i'm a girl that i want pink or purple. i wear a 7.5. wonder if a 7 men's would fit me?

I'm right there with you. I look for black most times, or subtle colors, and they really don't do that for women's wear do they?  The easiest way to find out a woman shoe to man shoe size is to just subtract 1.5 from the woman's size (and generally add a wide to the description).  So a man's 7 is a woman's 8.5w.  Since most shoe stores do not carry men's sizes below 7, this can become a problem for women with smaller feel (I'm a 7.5 myself).  Boys shoes do not translate the same way, since it really depends on the manufacturer, I've tried on my son's size 6 and found them incredibly tight, but  man's 7 fit fine in the same make.  Water shoes stretch, smaller won't hurt, but I would not recommend too small if you plan to hike in them, your toes will not thank you for the constant pressure.  In water it's not as noticeable.
