Designed for easy installation with included hardware, its trapezoidal shape fits snugly into corners to reduce low-end muddiness and standing waves in studios or home theaters. Fire-rated ASTM E84 Class A and available in multiple colors, it’s a professional-grade solution made in the USA to upgrade your acoustic environment effortlessly. ## Description Acoustimac DMDBT4000C Corner Bass Trap. 8 Sq. Foot Low Frequency Absorber. These panels are loaded with high performance 6lb Rockwool Insulation. Each bass trap is crafted right here in the USA, using high grade cabinet plywood, and wrapped in our Trademark DMD Acoustically Transparent Fabric. All Acoustimac Bass Traps are wrapped on front and sides in fabric, and have a wooden backing. These Bass Absorber are Available in 5 colors and Include Easy to install Mounting Hardware and screws for wall deployments. They have an average NRC Rating of .95 or higher with additional absorption on the low end of the band spectrum, which makes them your best choice for treating for 'boomy' or 'muddy' bass as well as standing waves in studios or home theaters. They also have the same mid and high frequency absorbers as our 2" acoustic panels. Our Corner Bass Traps have a trapezoidal footprint to allow for a snug fit installations into corners. (You will need at least 16" of room from each side of the corner.) Our corner traps do not have a plywood backing, but their longer sides provide more than enough structural support to allow for a flow through back which provides additional low frequency absorption. Review: Save time, buy these - Look, you can build your own absorption panels yourself but why deal with rockwool insulation and all the other hassle plus a good amount of time just to save $30 per panel? These are quality panels, the most affordable 4" depth that I could find (better for low-end absorption with the larger depth) and the mounting hardware that ships with them is very convenient. I hung these into plaster walls with the provided screws and hardware, not worrying about where the studs were, with no issue. I purchased eight of these total and installed in two different locations with no quality control issues whatsoever. Shipping costs are reduced the more panels you purchase so don't go off the items initial cost + shipping cost and think that's how much it will be in total. Add however many you need to your cart and check the final. With the WHITE fabric they show stains easier and are harder to keep clean so I would go with a different color for high-traffic areas and if you do get the white panels keep your hands clean when hanging them up or you'll absolutely have dirt showing where your hands were. I bought these with the intention of reupholstering with fancy designs if and when they do get dirty. One thing to note, these are wooden framed sides... therefore the sides of these will absorb less than some of the mesh framed panels from other manufacturers. For the price and quality I am very happy with them though. Review: not bad! - great for the price. the material is stretchy, which I thought was sort of weird. Most basstraps are almost canvas-ey in feel. They definitely helped clean up the mud in my mix position though! ## Features - High NRC Rated Core .95 or higher avg. - Sturdy Cabinet grade wood Inner-frame and backing - ASTM E84 Class A Fire Rated - Installation Hardware Included - Fast Turnaround ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #69,764 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #1,244 in Recording Studio Acoustical Treatments | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 40 Reviews | ## Images ![Low Frequency Bass Trap DMD 4' x 2' x 4" BLACK - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41nPDI+jvNL.jpg) ![Low Frequency Bass Trap DMD 4' x 2' x 4" BLACK - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51XEWVzz+jL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Save time, buy these *by M***Y on February 4, 2021* Look, you can build your own absorption panels yourself but why deal with rockwool insulation and all the other hassle plus a good amount of time just to save $30 per panel?
