I bought the WildYard Bat House as we kept seeing bats flying round the house in the evenings, and overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase. The build quality is top-notch, sturdy wood construction, well-assembled, and clearly built to last. It also has a clean, natural look that fits nicely into the outdoor environment without being an eyesore. The size and internal layout are well thought out, offering two chambers that can support a good number of bats. For the price, I’d say it offers great value, especially compared to other options that feel flimsier or are smaller in size. One thing to note, installation is not as simple as it sounds. While the box itself is well-designed, mounting it at the proper height (recommended 12–20 feet) does require some DIY skill and the right tools. There are no wall plugs or detailed instructions included, so be prepared to plan ahead. All in all, this is a solid, attractive bat house that delivers on quality and design. Just don’t expect a plug-and-play install, you’ll need to put in a bit of work to get it set up right.

Took 10 months from installing the box to having residents. Box itself is well made and easy to fit as long as you’re OK up ladders. Made my day seeing bat droppings under where I fitted it.

A very sturdy black bat house box. I ordered this because two people suggested I put up a bat box to lure the resident bat, that loves my front door, away. I just bought this little home, and had never had a bat box home. It is definitely weather resistant, and will last for many years. This size is large enough to accommodate many bats, and if you put it up high enough and away from other predators, the bats will feel comfy and safe in the box. It appears to be fairly easy to assemble, but this is where it got difficult for me. My back yard is small, and I have a fence all the way around. I asked two different friends if they could hang it for me….but the answer was that I would need to install a pole in my backyard that would withstand heavy winds, and that it needed to be high enough that neither of them wanted to work on it for me. Sad. And I can’t do this at all. I don’t have skills to drill a long pole in the ground and crawl up a tall ladder and strap this bat box to it. So I have to wait for the perfect condition that allows me to find the right person who can do this project. But the box is in perfect condition, and as I said, very well made. It is also a good value for the money spent…unless you knew how to build one yourself and spray it black. I don’t have those skills. But I highly recommend this bat box to anyone who has the skills to hang this close enough to the resident bats, far enough away from your home…and high enough for bat safety.

Il faut un peu de temps (2 mois chez nous) mais ça fonctionne. Déjà 7 résidentes qui font la chasse aux insectes tout les soirs dans le jardin.

Bueno es lo que esperaba, lo he puesto mirando al Este en la sombra, pero aún no hay inquilinos, puede tardar hasta tres años en llegar los primeros, de momento estoy contento y espero tener proto los pequeños deboradores de insectos que tanto me gustan

Optisch sehr schön gemacht, was man unbedingt beachten muss ist, dass der Kasten in 2, besser 3m Höhe über dem Boden aufgehängt werden sollte. Aber wenn er erst mal hängt ist er top!
