Wilson Antennas 880-900906 66 Inch CB Antenna Whip

Replaced a 1000 whip with this 66” unit, had to cut down to around 62.5” to get swr down. This is a high quality replacement whip for larger Wilson antennas. Once I got it tuned well I talked to some locals about 35 miles away on AM and was able to make a few contacts via skip on 38 lsb, this antenna is attached to a President McKinley in my F150, overall I am enjoying the performance so far and I would purchase this product again.

Easy to use and simple design. Don't cut too much off at once when tuning as you can't add it back on. Take your time and test at the bottom, center, and top of the band each time and only remove a small amount each time between testing all three again. Material is good and should have many years of solid use. This was packaged in a sealed PVC pipe to prevent bending in transit, which I really appreciate. Peforms as expected on a 1/4 wave base load NMO vehicle mount. Good reception and handles wind loading better than any fiberglass antenna.

Exactly what I was looking for, great quality and the exact height that I ordered, although I did need to get an adaptor to put it on my mount.

Excellent stainless steel quality, great performance, excellent value for the money, reception is excellent once trimmed to exact size. It's just a simple whip as described and shown in the photo. I would recommend this and will be ordering a second one for my other vehicle. There's no threaded stud on the end because a "whip" isn't supposed to.

This is a great whip for portable use with the wolf river coil mini. It will get you 10-40m. Looks like good quality steel with a nice tip. I would buy it again.
