I wore it over some layers in 36 degree weather and it kept me warm and dry. I love that I can just fold it up and zip it up into itself. It’s light and protective against wind and rain, so it’s perfect for my needs. I also love the color and the way it fits. Review: Love this jacket - LOVE this jacket! It fits well and has enough room for layers, which is nice to have options. It's super comfortable and it covers lower in the back, and seems durable. The zippers move smoothly and seal up well. It's also a great grab n go light jacket. I agree with others the hood is a bit wonky/long, but have mitigated issues by wearing a baseball hat underneath to give the cinched hood something to grab and keep it out of my face. It would be more useful to have a Velcro tab on the back of the hood to pull it back to a better height. I found that spending the afternoon outside in moderate rain, working in the yard, caused it to loose some waterproofing in spots, but in fairness, it's not rated for the amount of rain it was exposed to, but held up well before it started to bleed through a bit. I've worn it hiking in the PNW and it was fine in the constant drizzle. I disagree with the many people complaining that it doesn't come with a packing bag ...the bag IS PART OF THE JACKET! It's the zipper on the back of the jacket. It folds into itself. It's actually wonderful we don't have to worry about losing a tiny bag for it, it's built in. Overall, I love this jacket and sure wish it had some other features (vented pits, better hood situation and stronger water proofing) but for the money I feel it's great for what it's used for (and rated for). ## Features - 100% Waterproof: Water-repellent fully seam-sealed cycling rain jackets can work under over 5000mm pressure head. （Breathability Rating: 3000g/m2/24hr) - Lightweight & Packable: These running rain jackets for women are lightweight and can be packed into a small self-contained bundle in the back pocket conveniently. - Enhanced Breathability: Baleaf women's windbreakers with breathable fabric and a ventilation system in the back help keep you cool and dry when sporting. - 5 Utility Pockets: Rain jackets for women have one back pocket, two hand pockets with zippers, and two inner pockets that securely store your items like a 6.5" mobile phone. - Elastic Rope Hood: Waterproof running jacket has a hood with a cord adjuster to well protect your face from rain and wind, suitable for cycling, running, hiking, golf, walking, motorcycle riding, or other outdoor sports. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B083NVMYK9 | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Apparel Fabric Stretch | Medium Stretch | | Apparel Fabric Weight Class | Lightweight | | Best Sellers Rank | #10,753 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ( See Top 100 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ) #1 in Women's Cycling Jackets | | Brand Name | baleaf | | Care instructions | Machine Wash | | Climate Suitability | Cold Weather, Mild Weather | | Closure Type | Friendly Remind: For ladies with broad shoulder and a large chest, please choose a size bigger./ Zipper | | Coat Silhouette Type | Rain Coat | | Coat Weather Protection | waterproof, windproof | | Collar Style | hooded | | Color | 1-black | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 4,636 Reviews | | Fabric Type | 100% Polyester | | Fabric type | 100% Polyester | | Fit Type | Fitted | | Fit to Size Sentiment | Good | | Import Designation | Imported | | Item Length Description | FT | | Item Type Name | cycling jacket | | Lining Description | Polyester | | Material | Polyester | | Number Of Pockets | 5 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Running | | Origin | Imported | | Part Number | Baleafaaa4680308219wa | | Pattern | Solid | | Pocket Description | Utility Pocket | | Product Care Instructions | Machine Wash | | Seasons | All | | Sleeve Length Description | Long Sleeve | | Sleeve Type | Long Sleeve | | Style | Military Coat | | Team Name | rain jacket | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![Packable Rain Jacket Women Waterproof Lightweight Jackets Hooded - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71LFnja-iNL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Team** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is the white (or light color) jacket see through or fairly thick?** A: This jacket has become a favorite in a very short time. It is thick but very light weight and cool. I wear it in Boston in January over T'neck, heavy sweater and scarf on a sunny 45 degree day. I bought 2 sizes bigger so it would go over 2 layers. Nothing shows through. **Q: Does it have pit zips?** A: No venting zips. Just a solid, really warm jacket. **Q: Will the hood fit over a helmet?** A: Yes, the hood fits over my helmet. I love this jacket. **Q: is this made in the USA or China ?** A: It is manufactured in China. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best windbreaker jacket I’ve ever owned *by B***S on March 18, 2026* I love love LOVE this jacket. Compares with $200 waterproof jackets. *by L***O on July 20, 2026* This jacket is amazing! It's ultralightweight and completely seam-sealed, making it waterproof. The medium fits my shoulders perfectly. I wasn't sure whether to get a small or a medium, but I went with the medium so I could wear something under it if necessary. I'm 120 lb and 5'5". I wrestled with the color, but since I'm heading off to the Netherlands next week, I wanted the visibility of this not-so-pretty yellow. At $53, I may even get one of the prettier colors when I come back! ## Frequently Bought Together - BALEAF Women's Rain Jackets Waterproof Windbreaker Windproof Running Lightweight Cycling Jacket Reflective Packable Hooded - BALEAF Men's Rain Jacket Waterproof Windbreaker Running Cycling Golf Hiking Gear Hood Lightweight Reflective Packable - BALEAF Men's Rain Jacket Waterproof Running Cycling Windbreaker Golf Hiking Gear Hood Raincoat Packable Reflective --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/229691522-packable-rain-jacket-women-waterproof-lightweight-jackets-hooded](https://www.desertcart.is/products/229691522-packable-rain-jacket-women-waterproof-lightweight-jackets-hooded) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
