Cool seat. There are a lot of seats that hook to the back of the seat and floats, but this one sets on the seat. The others are great for front seats, and this one seems to be great for back seats. Yes, it is large. My little puppy can lay flat on it and move around. It is also high to allow your dog to look out the window. So if your trying to decide between this and the other, which we have in our other car, I would say that one is for the back seat and the other is for the front just because of the size. Also this one uses a seat belt to secure it so if you keep it in your car your seatbelt will always be stretched around the booster seat. If you have a smaller car you may find this too large for your front seat. We have a sport sedan with sport seats in the back and it does go past the seat into the middle. It just fits. I am thinking if you have a smaller car it may not fit as it will pass the seat belt connection. Also the seat goes down hill so to speak because of the seat Tilting down do I had to put a small cushion to level it out. Well made with nice piping. Nice cushion. Sturdy and will last for years. Nice sturdy base for your dog. Hopefully this description helps you decide which one will work best for you.

This booster seat works well in the 2nd row seat of my 2020 Odyssey minivan. It holds my 25 lb. weechon pup perfectly so he can see out the side and the front windows. Plus it's big enough so he can lay down on the pillow comfortably. I am supplementing the provided pillow with a microfleece pillow since my pup prefers the microfleece softness. The seat was easy to install and seems sturdy. My only reservation about the Pet Gear Booster Seat is the security system which seems flimsy at best since it's only attached to the back layer of fabric on the seat. I kept my previous premium dog safety belt which attaches to the 2nd row set latch bar that's attached to the car seat frame. This dog safety belt is much more securely attached to my dog's harness, is used behind the Pet Gear Booster Seat, and is long enough to pulled above the back of booster seat with enough length of my dog to stand and sit comfortably on the booster seat. .. Bottom line: this is a well=made Pet Booster Seat that needs to be supplemented with a premium dog satety Seat Belt.

My dog got adjusted to it very easy and always knows to sit in it so he can see out my windows. For that, it does a great job and I highly recommend this product. However, there are a few negatives about this but I have been able to solve them. First, it comes with a removable cushion. With the cushion in the seat it is super comfy for him but it always make it flush with the perimeter of the seat. Without the cushion, there is a divet that allows him to sit securely there but it is not a very soft bottom. I usually put a small blanket in there for him to make himself comfy. Second, the "leash" aspect is completely useless because it is so tiny nothing can fit into it. I have attached a photo for reference. So while the seat is secure in my seat, he is not. I was able to solve this by buying a car leash that attaches to my headrest which means for this to do its advertised job, I had to purchase a seperate item. With those small tweaks, I am able to use it as intended.

Great product; great price. Prompt delivery. This car seat is well built and comfortable for animals. Ideal for two dogs and holds both securely with plenty of room to move and get comfortable. My daughter has two small Maltipoos and they both fit comfortably in the seat. While it says Large Car Booster, I'd say to be careful if you plan on having two medium sized dogs; check product dimensions and decide for yourself! A great feature is that the seat sits high enough for the animals to see out the windows and into the front seat area. And the booster is easy to install and move from car to car if necessary. We are actually buying another because the dogs are frequently in different cars.

My dog loves the seat. She can see 360 degrees out the window of my SUV. The larger size was great for my medium size dog. It is a little wide so you will struggle to get the seat belt around the seat without letting go of the seat belt because it will ratchet back and get tight. I recommend someone else helping you install it. Have one person on one side of the car pulling all the seat belt slack you can get and don’t let it retract at all. Have the other person on the other side of the car grabbing the seat belt from you to buckle it into position.

Bella loves being able to see over the dash or out the door window. The height of this is perfect. There is two secure straps to hook on Bella’s harness or one strap and 2 dogs. There is plenty of room for two small dogs. Bella is 15 pounds in could have another 15 pound dog beside her. Things I do not care for is the pet car seat is so wide it takes up the front seat plus. When you go to see buckle the pet car seat in you need to climb in the front seat to see to buckle it. It is easier with two people when buckling the pet car seat in. I am only 5‘3“ tall, it would be easier if I was taller with longer arms. I am not quite so sure how safe this car seat would hold up in a crash.

I have had this booster seat for just over a month. It was a little bit too wide for my back seat but was workable. Our dog (16 lb mini Ausie Shepard) has been in it for a total of 3 rides. Unfortunately, as I was attaching her collar for her 4th ride the "safety" tether literally ripped apart in my hands. Our dog is professionally trained and was sitting in the booster seat as commanded. I was not pulling or using any kind of harsh force. The material was cheap, defective or both. Either way I am grateful we did not have to rely on it for its "safety" feature! Of course I am past the return date so there is nothing I can do but write this review, and hope it saves you from the $57 loss that I suffered by purchasing this seat.

This is a Excellent Booster Seat. I purchased two of them on the same day over the Internet. I have two Cairn Terriers, 6 months old. When they sit in the booster seat they are able to see outside. All kinds of leg room when laying down. They are comfortable and fall asleep easily. We have a large booster seat(s) that has all the room for them to move around. Great Safety: The seat belt goes through the center of the booster seat for a secure connection. While you have your dog in his harness the booster comes with two small quick connections for each side of your pet that connects to two O-rings at the back of the seat about 6-8 in apart. One drawback: The lines leading from your dog to the back connection I found you cannot make them short enough although I was able to work around this by double up on the line. Over all this is still an excellent Booster seat for a dog. My dogs so far love going on trips with us.

Before purchasing this, I read all the reviews so I was a little worried about it. I can't imagine saying anything negative about it except its perfect size for one dog maybe 2 cats, but our Westie loves it. The quality is very good and fits perfect in my car which is a Nissan Juke so its not to big. The seat belt secures it easily and I have it in the back with the seat back down. I have no problem recommending this to anyone whose dog likes to look out the window. The harness could be a little more secure, but our dog doesn't even try to get off it. This am I took her for a ride and after parking the car in the garage she (the Westie) was happy to just sleep on it and didn't even want to come out of the car.

We have, as well as our dogs have loved this seat booster. Still using three plus years later. The one strap broke off though quite soon after getting it but I purchased two so I haven’t seen it back on. These are not strong as in retraining all holding your pet in an accident, but will hold them well enough for not jumping all over while your driving. They love sitting high

I love everything about this car seat. My two mini Dachshunds fit into it perfectly. It is the width of my passenger seat so there's lots of room for them. It is soft enough to be comfy but rigid enough to keep its shape. The first time I took them for a ride, they didn't know which way to look! They loved it! It's super easy to take in and out of the car if you have to. (In this picture my dogs are not attached because I hadn't purchased harnesses for them yet.)
