Wide width ladies, get the men's shoe!
In a women's shoe, I'm a size 11W. Oftentimes the toebox still doesn't provide enough room and my big or baby toes become irritated rubbing against the shoe. I work on concrete floors sometimes up to 12 hours a shift. I love Sketchers and Ryka but they really need to offer extra-extra wide in more shoes! Well, I have finally found two men's sneakers that I can wear to work with NO pain at the end of my shift. One shoe is the Brooks suede Addiction Walker. OMG! I didn't feel the concrete floors and had NO pain at the end of my shift!. I get Achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis often and don't get me started on the corns that develop after my feet swell working over eight hours! Even when I took them off after I got home I felt...nothing. For the first time working more than 4 hours on concrete floors, I had absolutely no pain. I ordered the size 10-2E and they are perfect. I can even wear thick socks with them! I could probably wear the 9 1/2 2E but because they're suede, and OH so comfortable, they don't slide off my feet when I walk, not even when I'm walking down ramp! These Brooks are so nice and comfortable. Ladies, if you need more room in the toebox or a wider width, get the men's shoe! If you work on concrete floors or the oftentimes 12 hour shift, get these suede Addiction Walkers. I'm going to try the leather Addiction Walkers but my first order will be a size 9 1/2-2E because the Hoka Bondi SR, which I'm going to review next, fit perfectly in men's size 9.5-2E. Okay, so I gave this shoe 4 stars for support and light weight only because at the 11th hour they felt a little uncomfortable. This might be because they are still new, not well worn. This doesn't mean they need a long break-in time, they don't, but I believe that after a month or so, this suede sneaker is going to feel like well worn gloves on my feet. This shoe is fantastic! I have tried so many sneakers looking for comfort and support in a working shoe. Oh! I almost forgot. I have slightly high arches and sensitive instep too. Years of wearing ill fitted heels that were too cute to pass up. You know what I mean, ladies. Please try these men's Addiction Walkers. I love them!

Great walker! wide toe box, very supportive, accepts orthotics well.
This is my 2nd pair. They wear/last very well for street walking. These walkers are super supportive for my particular feet. I need a wide toe box and these (4E) deliver! They are super comfortable and supportive. I pulled out the stock liner and replace with my custom orthotic. The only "complaint" that I have for these shoes have a sole with small grooves, think Sperry topsiders, and they can be a magnet for all kinds of dirt and debris, to the point that I usually leave them in the garage after a walk, so as not to drag in all of the dirt, but...I will be buying another pair in a year or so, when I have 500+ miles on this (2nd) pair!

Comfort and Quality
I know friends that are very pleased with Brooks shoes. From talking to them, and reading reviews, it is important to know that you should order at least 1/2 size larger than your normal shoe size. I normally wear size 9M, however the Brooks Adiction Walkers that I ordered were 9-1/2 2E which is a wider show. The 9M were too small on my feet andvery tight on the sides. Many reviews seemed to point that out, so I followed that advice and my Brooks Adiction Walker, in Suede, fit perfectly. Great support and comfort for daily brisk walks, and a very impressive quality shoe.

Amazing
4 stars because the fabric on the right shoe where it meets the sole of the shoes is tearing. I will say though, I use the shoes at least 4 days out of the week and worn them on multiple hiking trips. And it's only the one spot that is tearing and it happened gradually. HOWEVER, these shoes are amazing and comfortable. I have flat feet and used to get severe foot pain in both feet after standing or walking for several hours, but with these Brooks that went away as soon as started wearing them. I also use them in conjunction with arch support inserts my podiatrist gave me, and I've not had foot pain since I started using both of them together. But still, for a $150 pair of shoes I expected to be a little more durable. I've had $30 shoes that I've used in the same fashion as the Brooks that did not tear. If not for the shoe tearing, I would've given it 5/5.

Super bummed these are discontinued
Hate that Brooks decided to quit making this line. These are the MOST comfortable & supportive walking shoe around. They are on the expensive side, but absolutely take care of your feet, if you are on them for any length of time. My family all has them, now we are scrambling trying to find something comparable. I don’t know why brands feel a need to do this ~ take a product that is perfect and change and/or discontinue the line. Brooks still had the leather version, but those are not stylish, not as comfortable, and just look “industrial”. Again, so disappointed that Brooks discontinued this line.

Size up
Runs very narrow, and not very comfortable.

Great shoe!
I wear these shoes everyday! They are among the most comfortable and supportive shoes I have ever purchased. The sole is very good in slippery conditions, grips surfaces exceptionally well. I will be buying these again, I just wish there were more color options.

Shoe is not proper size
Little did I know when I ordered the Brooks shoe that it is suggested to order a 1/2 to full size bigger than what you usually use. I find the shoe tight and pinched. How about making the shoe the same size as other shoes? I wear a size 15 wide. So, am I supposed to order a 16, which they do not have? I would not recommend this shoe to anyone based on this alone. Make the shoe using the same size that everyone else uses!!
