Better than Heinz, yes, but still not quite the classic malt vinegar taste that you'd want for your fish and chips.

This is a bottle of malt vinegar available at a great price and great amount of volume offered for it. Malt vinegar is amazing when used on fries, specifically "steak fries." In case you don't know, "steak fries" are usually considered a thicker cut than like traditional fast food fries, and usually still have a little bit of the skin from the potato on it. These type of fries are usually not overly crispy, kinda being little limp and/or floppy and served with a sprinkle of salt on it. The malt vinegar is then sprinkled over the friends as wel. I personally like a of it to the point fries are soggy from it. If never tried malt vinegar on fries, highly recommend it.

Not quite H. Salt but it taste good on fish.

This is what a hot platter of fish and chips craves whether we're around to hear it or not. Excellent for seasoning veggies, in marinades, even for a pan sauce with butter on steaks. Excellent in sauces and gives a rich flavor with good wood and malt backbone and bright acidity. Makes a damn fine vinaigrette if I do say so my damn self. Just an awesome vinegar.

There was nowhere in Brooklyn where I could find malt vinegar so I bought this. It is okay. If you like a really light vinegar than you will love this. I prefer it to have a little more bite to it.
