I always try to use Miracle Grow products and this is my first choice in potting soil. It has fertilizer already in it, good texture with perlite, soil, and plant fiber mixed in so I don't have to add anything to it. Plants grow well in it and it is easy to use. It retains enough moisture but drains well too. I'm always surprised how much soil a pot can hold and usually need more than I think I will. I bought this bag to transplant a plant I bought in a number one container. The soil ball was a little too tall for the pot so I loosened the bottom and spread the roots out so they would fill the sides of the pot. I used half a bag of soil to fill in about two inches all around the root ball! I guess that shows how fluffy the soil is in the bag so be prepared to use more soil than you think you will.

This is my go to base potting mix for all of my plants. I use it with all of my tropical plants and they are happy and healthy. It retains the moisture and nutrients my plants need. I haven't had any pest infestations since using this soil, but I also systemic granuals with the soil. My plants are growing and thriving!

I know a lot of people are against miracle grow for various reasons I'm far from an expert on house plants but for my use it worked out great my plants are thriving

Seems to have revived my sad fig tree but one small bag didn't fill my 12" pot even half way.

Not the best price, but just the right size. Didn’t want to run to several brick and mortar stores to find a small bag.

Miracle grow for the win again! I love the product and I love being able to order it off of Amazon for a very reasonable price. It’s helped so much with my plant growth. It’s got so many nutrients in it . Great value for your money here’s a picture below of a plant that was dying and I took it out of the no name plant soil and used miracle grow with it and now look at how beautiful it is.! Also included 2 snake plants that someone was giving away . They were half the size when I got them 6 month ago . Thriving now !

I have over 15 vining plants, and over the last few months since I purchased my first bag of this soil I have repotted almost all of them. I love how fine this soil is. I can see the sand crystals and nutrients inside, and it just feels high quality. As to the claims of less fungus gnats, I would agree this soil is better than other at helping to reduce overall fungus gnats, but I would think it's because of how nicely the soil compacts after watering, and also stays airy to allow breathability. My current sun room contains over 25 indoor plants, and even with yellow sticky paper, this soil in 80% of plants, semi-regular pesticide treatments, a overhead fan circulating air 24/7, and using a water meter to determine soil dryness I still get a decent amount of fungus gnats. I think once you get enough plants or bring home fungus gnats with a new plant, it will just be a problem you have to contain. I will 100% continue to purchase this soil for my indoor plants. happy planting

I bought this mix for my work bestie, Plantricia. She was looking at little limp and her roots were a little sad. As soon as I put this soil in, she perked right back up. I would definitely buy this bag again!
