I have been a big fan of Rupi Kaur's writing and 'The Sun and Her Flowers' is one of my all time favourite books. I was delighted to receive my copy of 'Home Body' and it did not disappoint! This book includes some amazing poetry and I particularly enjoyed the hand drawn illustrations, which is a wonderful staple of Rupi's books. These poems are spilt carefully into mood sections which really captures the thoughts and feelings of emotion - especially the initial 'Mind' segment. Amazing writer, this book really has something for everyone looking to heal in some way. If you are wondering whether you should purchase this book - you totally should!

Really good poetry but be aware of potentially triggering themes of (TW here), rape, molestation and domestic abuse. Would highly recommend the poems though they are quality.

At this beginning this book just blew me away but as it went on it just became went dry and crude in some poems with the use of the word pussy (I think a better word could of been used & something more suited to such beautiful poems) I also felt that some of the poems came across quite narcissistic. There’s a difference with self love and borderline narcissism. Milk and honey was utterly incredible and I have so much admiration for Kaur. Her poems are powerful and will most definitely draw you in. Overall I do think this is a very good book, empowering and relatable.

I love this book so much , Rupi has outdone herself yet again!! Her poems are extremely relatable and you can tell they come from the heart , it touches on important topics and she phrases certain things beautifully, I admire her poetry so much and this is definitely a book I recommend as it is certain it’ll touch your heart!

I absolutely love this book, it really opens your eyes to the world while captivating our interests in the short poems, worth the read !

Ce livre est juste formidable! Rupi kaur etant mon auteur préférée, j'ai jamais été déçue. Pour les français ayant peur de l'anglais, je vous rassure c'est tout à fait compréhensible facilement. C'est pas un anglais trop poussé donc ça devrait le faire pour les personnes ayant un petit niveau b1 je pense :)

Era para un regalo y mi amiga quedó encantada. Rupi no decepciona y te llega, te remueve y hasta diría que te sana. 4 estrellas porque la tapa vino un poco dobladilla, pero eso es cosa del empaquetado.
