With his first set, he was creative enough to build a functioning AM radio which allowed him to pickup the local high school football broadcast. Definitely worth the money to stimulate a young creative mind.

Unlike some STEM kits he returns to the kit over and over as there are many items to build and the builds are interesting enough that he wants to build them repeatedly. My 9-year-old son loves this! He's spent endless hours trying to rig up different components to run different effects. He somehow managed to get our TV remote to run the circuits. It may be the toy he plays with most.
