Very good. Definitely love the product. Only thing is if you are sensitive to smells I would advise thinking twice before purchasing. Has a strong note of flower & Smokey type smell to it.

Goes on smooth and soft. But not so good of a fragrance
Advanced Clinicals Encapsulated Retinol Face Cream Moisturizer goes on smooth and my skin is soft. This after applying the Advanced Clinicals skin moisturizing cream. I'm a black American male, light brown skin and have some small discoloration on my face that mostly came from chickenpox from when I was 18 years old and it was bad. I just started using this cream and so far, no skin irritation; I was afraid of the retinol ingredient. I'm looking for something to really diminish the hyperpigmentation in my skin. Only thing I don't like is the scent. The smell is not good; not a sweet powdery, or shea butter nor cocoa butter sent. It's like a slightly burnt scent, If I could describe the smell. So I gave it a 3 star so far. I wish the fragrance smelled better.

Smells like ham and made my eyes water
I was excited to purchase this product as my first foray into the retinol world. Unfortunately this product was terrible! The product itself smells like canned meat/chemicals. In fact, I thought it smelled like ham, so much so that I asked my husband to smell my face and tell me what he thought. You got it! He said it smelled like ham!! Also, this retinol cream made my eyes water non-stop. I do not have allergies, but the four nights that I wore this I woke up in the morning with tears streaming out of my eyes for the first half of the day. 100% would not recommend.
