WOW. Got this RC car and let me just cut to the chase - it is a BLAST to drive. It’s blazing fast, especially on pavement, but I mainly use it on the lawn. I’m having a blast tearing it up on the lawn, and so far it’s super durable. I’ve jumped it over a curb, did a full flip, drove it off stairs, through the bushes, and it just trucks along. Battery life has been good so far, and best part is it comes with two of them! *I will caution that I was having an issue with one of my batteries, so I contacted Customer Support. They were very helpful and responsive, and told me I probably had overcharged the battery. I had left it on the charger for over 24 hours, so that was probably the issue. So be careful and remove it from the charger once the indicator shows it’s fully charged.* Anyways my kids love this thing, my dog was chasing it around and couldn’t even keep up - so he got a work out! I really love that the controller has a speed control on it. So I can have it a full throttle for me - but then dial it back low for my 3 y/o. It’s slow enough that he can drive it and not lose control - and he has a ball with it. I think he’s driven it more than me! A few cons for me - and maybe this is just nitpicking (because I still don’t feel like it’s worth taking stars off for) - is just a couple of design choices. First, the plastic car form body that goes over the platform and axles is secured using several cotter pin clips. Now I’m not super familiar with the RC world, so maybe this is normal, but it takes a minute to get the body off to get access to the battery. The battery is also secured with another cotter pin clip. Now this definitely makes everything secure, but it’s just a tiny bit time consuming to do that every time you want to put the battery in and out. They’re also pretty tiny clips. I’ve already lost a couple just dropping them on the ground with my fat fingers, and then I can’t find them on the floor. They do provide several spare clips in the accessories bag though, so that’s nice. The other thing is the open platform underneath the plastic body easily collects grass clippings, leaves, etc. - probably because this thing is ripping so fast! But I just wish it was a little more closed off so I wasn’t trying to blow out debris. Could be that just helps with air flow and weight, but I’m not sure. Bottom line, GET THIS if you’re looking for a fun RC car to entertain adults, children, and pets alike! Car is great for my 7yo son. Very fast and somewhat durable and easy to control. Great power to drive thru thick florida grass. Only complaint and taking 1 star off is battery life is trash. Realistic 15 minutes of use using on sidewalk/ flat surface and 10 minutes in grass/dirt. Fully charged batteries get depleted quick and batteries/motor get hot. Ill try to research some cooling mods. But all in all a good purchase!

I've owned several DeeRC cars, as always they don't disappoint. You have to keep in mind that this is a 1/16th scale and bushes but let me tell you this guy runs well. I'm very surprised by the performance of this RC car. Battery's last about 18mins each. This car comes with 2 of them and one charger, now the charging is around 3 hours per battery but it's a small cheap USB charger so not surprised. This car can run on grass but after it's been freshly mowed. Motor will start to get to warm if you run in grass that's a little long. The radio has a speed control so you can turn down max speed for younger drivers to get the hang of it. Finding replacement parts can be a bit tricky but they are out there. I've had to contact customer support for parts and other issues and DeeRC stands by there product and is very willing to help. You can not go wrong with their products. Oh I have launched this car off pretty big jumps and have taken a lot of hard crashes. It's still running and jumping. Would definitely recommend, just remember the size and it's brushed. You won't be doing 20 mph, closer to 13mph maybe a bit less in grass. Still plenty fast for my kids who are learning and I have fun with it too.

Absolutely worth every penny. The car only lasted 2 weeks before it's sustained too much damage to repair however, it's been beat on every day. Dirt trails, skate park ramps, tall wet grass. You can run about 2 batteries at full throttle before it's hot enough to cook an egg on, Does about 20 mph with ease, and will do little wheelies. If you're looking for something to get into the RC hobby world, this is it. Safe enough for my 3 year old boys and fast enough for an adult to have fun. Cannot praise the build quality enough after what I've put it through. The first failure point was the screws for the bumper breaking off inside the chassis, second was bent and leaking shocks on all 4 corners, and third was the plastic pinion stripping out. This is not a $500 name brand car, don't expect miracles, and you'll be very happy with what this company delivers. I have 3 and will be buying another. 10/10.

I ordered one of these for my son for Christmas. A car is spectacular. It is so fast and durable. He loves it so much and I love it too. I think I wanna play with it more than he does so I followed all instructions when opening the package in the car comes with two batteries so the first time we went out to play with him. This thing ran on full speed for 20 minutes or longer then I put the second battery in and only ran for five minutes so obviously there’s a battery issue now I’ve used this car along with my son multiple times and I had reached out to the supplier saying that one of my batteries had an issue. They got back in touch with me within 48 hours and offered to give me a full refund or send me a new car and then I could keep the old car until the new car showed up and then return a car I purchased for Christmas even after it’s been used so I’m very satisfied with this company they make planes ,boats, cars and trucks when summer comes around you can be sure I’ll be trying out a boat and an airplane. Again, customer service was fantastic. The fact that they sending me a new car even though when they were received the old car, they’re not gonna be able to sell it because I’ve used it and she’s just nice and know that there’s still some companies out there that stand on their products and even though they’re losing some money, they just wanna make sure the customer is satisfied with their product, which I am

The RC itself is a great purchase. For the item being a toy it has great range and speed for the unit. It does take a little getting use to operating to stop it from flipping over. It does great in short grass, and light rough terrain. If you get into higher grass or more rougher terrain it does get stuck easily. There isn't any type of support to help keep the unit from rolling over on its top if the frontend pops up in the air. So that will be an item to look at adding if you are thinking about jumps or trying to climb steeper inclines. It is nice to have the led lights on the front so you can run it later in the evening and still see the unit. I will need to look at add lights to the rear for the same reason. Over all it is a great unit for starting out or looking for a lower unit for fun.

Received quickly, the car is awesome, tough and easy to operate, grandson loves it. Had to turn the speed down as it is really quick and you have to be on your game to keep up with it. Nicely weighted does jumps pretty good. Will be getting some more for the other grandsons.

AMAZING!!!! Hours of endless fun! I purchased this RC car after hours of research. I was looking for an entry level RC vehicle that was durable, reliable, and could handle just about anything I threw at it. This RC truck did all of that and more. It has handled every terrain I've thrown at it, including plenty of crashes and rough landings! The two battery packs provide about 15min of run time in cold weather and 25-30 minutes in warm weather. The speed is impressive for the price. It's fast enough to do jumps and race down the street, but it doesn't feel 40KPH fast. I have not once found myself worried about breaking it when I pull the trigger. I've even driven this RC truck on ice/snow, and it just keeps going! One word of advice: If you plan to run this RC truck in snow, make sure you immediately disconnect the battery after using it and allow the entire unit to dry before your next racing session. I fear that any water inside the electronic component might fry the whole unit. I have used this RC truck in snow about 15 times, disconnecting the battery afterward, and haven't had any issue yet! Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase. I highly recommend this RC truck if you're looking for a fun, durable entry-level RC vehicle that can take a beating and keep going!
