Suprisingly not too sweet - very pleasant tasting but THICK
I’ve tried a lot of vegan protein powders, and some of them are just sickly sweet. I do not understand why because you can add what you want to them, including dates to sweeten things up. But this powder is not sweet. It has a very nice flavor profile and is not overly sweet at all. I do not have to add any dates when I add my banana and my kale to this powder but some may want it a little sweeter, but I prefer this completely. It is easy enough to use, but it is a big giant scoop that you do need to use. And I found that for my morning smoothie it just makes it so super thick using the full dosage. So I use maybe about a half or a little bit over half of a dosage and that works well for my needs. Again, I just use water, this powder, a banana and a bunch of kale. I would totally get this again as it is a decent price for the amount of servings as well. And again the taste is very nice.

Pea Protein that actually tastes good
I am no longer able to drink whey protein powder as it does not agree with me. I have tried several different brands of Pea Protein and I find the taste to be absolutely disgusting! I was about to give up on Pea Protein but I thought I would give one last try. Wow! I can’t believe how impressed I am by this NOW Brand vanilla Pea Protein. It doesn’t taste quite as good as whey protein vanilla, but it’s pretty darn close. I actually really like the taste. I frequently mix one scoop with half a banana and a small handful of berries. I have also started to use this mix to make homemade popsicles and I eat them when I am craving ice cream. This is a great product. I suggest you try it out!

I Gotta Pea!
Me to my 16 year old athlete son, "here, try this it's pretty good." Him: What is it? Me: It's pea protein Him: WHAT??!!! Me: it's pea protein. Try it! Him: Dad are you crazy?!! I'm not drinking ANYTHING made with pea! That's gross!! I'm not drinking that crap! Me (and I just had to say it): It's NOT crap, it's PEA!! As a user and experimenter of many different types of protein powders, I have to say, this one is unique. Like the other reviewer mentioned, this is indeed a lot like flour consistency out of the jug. It will get all over your hands and counter top just trying to get the scooper out. But that's where the negatives stop. The taste is very good, and it mixes well. Read the product description. It has everything you want in a good protein powder including non GMO ingredients and no milk and no soy. Mix this with a few packs of instant fat free/sugar free vanilla pudding and a cup or so of almond milk. Throw in some dark chocolate morsels and you have got one HECK of a healthy snack that tastes just like cookie dough. A few caveats: 1) higher in sodium than usual protein powders 2) take this fwiw, but just came across a research article that stated that extra protein is very healthy up to about age 40. People between 40-60 should avoid too much extra protein and those over 60 should increase protein consumption. Don't have a link so research on own. 3) it contains a bit of xylitol so if your stomach is sensitive to that additive, be careful. It's not that much, but could irritate sensitive people. The good news is that pea protein is most likely way healthier than whey (cow) and DEFINITELY healthier than soy By the way, my son drank it and actually loved it!

Will buy it again
I’m happy with this pea protein. It mixes well, tastes good, and is easy to digest. I use it after workouts and would definitely buy it again.

So so so nasty
Truly the worst protein powder I’ve ever tried. It’s so grainy and artificial tasting. It also leaves this lasting bitter taste in your mouth?? The scoop thing is awful too lol. But the flavor is so bad and so strong. I tried really hard to mask it in smoothies and such because I really try to use the things I buy until they’re gone even if I don’t like them, but it was this protein powder is unmaskable. Like you still have this really grainy texture and it has this lasting taste that really makes it awful to consume. I would not recommend this product at all.

Not the best vanilla taste
Not much of a taste. A little bit like dirt.

A good, healthy pea protein drink mix.
This pea protein drink mix is good for several reasons: the texture isn’t bad, even though some people say it’s chalky; I found that blending it fully, or using cold water or milk helps with the texture. Also, the flavor is pretty good on this one, as well. I’m trying to lose weight, so I’m going with a liquid diet, when I can, to support that goal, and this drink mix has really filling serving sizes, so I’m pleased with that. I found that putting in a sufficient amount of liquid really helps with the clumpiness, and the drink mixed smoothly, well enough.

Cold pea soup high in sodium served in a dirty ashtray. Glad I got it on sale.
I tried it in a shaker cup and it smells like vanilla toffee, but tastes like pea soup. I've had pea protein shakes before, so I expected a little pea flavor, but I also expected a little vanilla and toffee, and it's not there. Some other lingering, musty flavor is there that I had to wash out with a handful of corn chips and then gum, but it's not vanilla toffee. I tried adding some Torani, and it just seemed to make it more ashy. I tried a spoonful in my oatmeal, but that was weird. I tried half a serving mixed with oat milk and some strongly-flavored vanilla Slimfast from the back of the cabinet, and it was only slightly easier to swallow. I gave it 2 stars because I have actually had worse and I think with the right extras I might be able to drink it, but I'm not sure how I can use up 22 servings right now. Even if it tasted the way the label implied, I didn't notice the sodium content until logging it, so I'm not going to be using more than a quarter serving ever.
