This costume is pretty great! Reminds me of John Carpenter 's "The FOG". My 12 year old is so excited. The staff needed a little care to assemble. Recommend you Un-Screw the blade to attach to the stick and a little glue or decorative tape to give more support. The chain is good quality with easy snap loose and re-attach. The glasses are a great effect, but a little uncomfortable. We plan on attaching them to a bill-less ball cap for comfort and easy off and on. We will also attach glow sticks inside the bottom cloak for an eerie effect and safety. Overall this costume is amazing for the price.

Our youngest has been the grim reaper several years for Halloween and this costume is by far our favorite! It was a great fit and he had no issues seeing through it. It's better quality than the others we've tried and we loved all the accessories. I especially loved the scythe, more real and spooky looking than most costume ones. He got quite a few compliments on it trick or treating.

Great costume! Quality seems really good for the costume portion and all the accessories! Fits a little oversized but didn't bother me or my son! He's 7 and we got the Medium. I gave it 4 stars because I do wish they would specify that the face mask isn't all black. there is a mesh cover over the face, which doesn't depict that in the advertisement picture. we are keeping it though! my son just pulls down the hood further to cover his face!

5 year old loves it

My kid enjoyed the costume even though the glowing eyes didn't work. He wore the costume a few times before Halloween and out trick or treating. So, while I definitely was within my window to return and technically had a legitimate reason to, we did use the costume so we're keeping it. My husband actually busted out the soldering iron and was able to get the glowing eye glasses to work, though my kid ended up preferring the costume without anyway. You really shouldn't have to solder and tinker to get a brand new item to work as advertised though.

My son picked this out and I was shocked that all accessories came with it! Great value!The blinking eyes add for a great effect. It is layered and the material is pretty thick and durable. The weapon disassembles, and my child has already lost pieces. However, if you keep it all together for trick or treat, you will have the perfect "one and done" purchased costume!

Every year we buy a Halloween costume and we have some pretty cool costumes. This is for a 9 year old girl, the costume is pretty well made, size 10-12. It came with the light up glasses, a good size plastic chain and a plastic axe. It fits good, easy to get on, the hood is separate from the dress part. According to my 9 year old it’s the best costume she has got so far, with that said it was worth every penny spent on costumes.

My son wanted to be a "scary ghost" and decided this was the costume for him. So I ordered it. It took me awhile to put it on him for a size check and oh wow... really wish I had try it on as soon as it arrived as there is so much wrong.-The actual costume part fits him alright, hood is a big iffy as its tight where I would expect it to flow around the shoulders a bit. The screen of the hood isn't attached at the bottom either so it will just flop around if it comes untucked.-The gloves that come with it are adult sized. I can wear them with no issue but they are a good 2 inches too long for my boy. They are also completely black, plain, whereas the pictures shows hand/finger bones.-The glasses are a complete bust. They do not work at all. I thought it was a battery issue so I popped it open (the entire side comes off) and the wires were all kinked and pinched. I don't think it was a battery issue... so disappointing.-The chain is NOT as long as it is shown in the pictures and there is no way to clip it together or to the costume. We are going to use a small zip tie to hold it together when we go Trick or Treating.-The scythe that we got is not what was pictured either. Pictures show a crooked wood looking staff with a silver blade that has a skull on it. What was got was a straight black pole and really simple grey blade.I cannot say how disappointed I was with this costume.
