Sleek, supportive weighted vest that actually feels good
I’m really impressed with the Prodigen Weighted Vest for Women. The fit is snug and comfortable without feeling bulky or restrictive, and I love that it’s designed with women in mind. The materials feel durable and high-quality, and the weights are evenly distributed so it doesn’t pull awkwardly on my shoulders or back during workouts. I’ve worn this vest for walking, strength training, HIIT, and even bodyweight exercises, and it stays secure without bouncing around. The adjustable straps make it easy to customize the fit, which has helped me feel confident pushing myself without distraction. It also looks good sleek enough that I don’t feel silly wearing it outside or in the gym. The added resistance has noticeably boosted the intensity of my routines, and I can feel the difference in my endurance and strength over time. Overall, this is a comfortable, effective weighted vest that makes workouts feel more challenging without sacrificing comfort. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to level up their fitness routine.

Good vest, good for HIIT, good for weights, body work, tried 20 and kept the 30.
1 - I very rarely review products, but I had to review this one, because of the -few- negative comments, to provide my thought. I am 175, 5'10", very active. I mainly bought it to hike at moderate pace w the dog in the woods and on trails. I do from 1-6 miles w it, feels great, good weight distribution, after a bit you forget its there. I also use it at the gym for pushups/pullups/and to add general weight/resistance to farmer's walks, curls, squats, deadlifts. I tried the 20, it a was a bit on the lighter side, but it fit more snug and was a bit more tailored. The 30 is a great weight, but it comes in a bit bigger size, so not as snug for me, I adjusted the straps to smallest. It is very good for above mentioned workouts. It slim enough where I can even lie on my back and do bench press. IN REGARD TO NEGATIVE COMMENTS: Weighted vests are NOT made for running, for jogging, for tennis, basketball, ballet, or anything like that. I did a lot of research, you are not supposed to do those types of dynamic exercises, you can pull muscles, damage your vertebrae, damage joints, pinch a nerve. They bounce a little and that makes for more risk of injury. The sizing comes for a typical average body, a 30LB vest I would say would fit a 5'10"-6'4" quite well. But if you are on a very small short side, or are very very husky, or very overweight, or have gigantic breasts, then perhaps you should take that into account and perhaps not get one. It is silly to run w a weighted vest. In regards to sturdiness and how it holds up, we shall see, I only used it for 2 weeks. But then again, its heavy, so I don't throw it around, or smack it hard, after all its made of fabric, material that can rip if you hurl it far and with its weigh of 30LB.

Comfortable weighted vest
I bought the 8 lb vest and Love it!! I didn't want anything too heavy, just some added resistance on my walks. The 6lb vest would of been adequate too. Don't feel pressured to buy the heavier vests. I didn't want the extra weight on my spine. I have enough back and neck problems as a 48 year old woman. This lighter weighted vest is perfect! Nice material, comfortable on, adjustable straps on the breasts. Buy it!!

Very good weighted vest to start out- but odor!
This is a very good weighted vest for the price. The quality is very good, and overall it’s not terribly uncomfortable. If you’re walking or running you’ll want to pull the straps tight. My only gripe is that it smells due to whatever material it is filled with to give it the weight. The odor isn’t terrible or foul, but it does smell and I can walk into the room it’s in and get a whiff every single day. It hasn’t dissipated since having it last four weeks, still present. I’m fine with it. I bought a 12lb to start out with. So for reference I’m 172 lbs and they say a good rule of thumb is to start w 10% of your body weight. I’ll tell you that I’m glad I started w the 12 pounder bc after the first two walks/ gentle workouts I could feel it was working. Wasn’t terribly sore, but definitely felt it the following day. Thats how I know it’s working! The fit is pretty good , but if you are larger busted, you might have some trouble with spillage between the two front straps across the chest or a uni- boob. I’m a DD cup and as you can see in pics it splits the girl’s horizontally. (I do have on a banded sports bra) It doesn’t bother me though bc I’m 49, finally love my body, and don’t go to the gym to impress anyone other than myself! My only question is that if I was to wear a tank top, would my arms rub against the sides, causing chafing? I won’t know until we’re in the warmer temps. Overall, I am pleased with the product. It serves the purpose, and I am looking forward to growing into heavier, weighted vests as I continue my strength training, and I’ll likely but this brand again.

Nice fit, secure and comfortable
So far I like it, for outdoor walks/runs. Seems to fit well with any adjustment needed in the front (straps a little long). Doesn't shift around too much, and seems like smooth, quality material. I have the 8 lb vest (130 lbs, athletic, 5'5") and it's feels just right to start with. Might be nice to be able to add weights to it like some other vests on the market, but the price was right so I will just use it until I need to upgrade. Not sure how it will hold up just yet over time. Just wish I could remember to wear it more often - it's a bit heavy to "hang up" and is usually stored on a flat surface, so I often forget to grab it (out of sight out of mind) when heading out. This is the vest that Mary Claire Haver (of "The New Menopause" book) recommends and uses - that is why I bought it. Price was also reasonable. Black is nice, and blends in with many of my dark colored tank tops.

Comfortable, well-balanced, and great for workouts
I’ve been using this weighted vest for walks and workouts and really like it. The weight is evenly distributed so it doesn’t feel awkward or pull on my shoulders. It fits securely and doesn’t bounce around, even during cardio. The quality feels solid and it’s comfortable enough to wear for longer sessions. Definitely adds an extra challenge without being uncomfortable.

Not For Busty Women!
This weighted vest is a good quality vest. It is durable and a nice teal color. However, it did not fit over my chest area. If you are a large chested woman, reconsider... Make sure that you find a vest that caters to us women who need the extra room! The padding is great and I can see how this would be perfect for someone else, just not me. The price is reasonable and seems to be comparable to other vests.
