Lemon Cook & Serve Pudding Mix 4.3 Ounce Box (Pack of 6)

I love lemon meringue pie. For some reason Jello lemon puddling is not sold in stores here in Florida. I made a pie the same day it arrived. So good and I will definitely reorder.

I live in Oregon and am having a hard time finding this cooked lemon pudding in my area. I have checked several stores and they just don't seem to carry the cooked lemon pudding mix. It makes great lemon meringue pies. It is easy to make and my husband likes this lemon over a homemade lemon meringue pie.

My family's favorite pie is lemon meringue, and I've always used Jello-O to do so. I'm disappointed in one way - THE PRICE. I can hardly believe what this package now costs.

Sorry I copied and pasted my review for the cooked chocolate mix below but this has how I use the microwave to cook this pudding for pies works the same with delicious Results as the chocolate. I love this cooked version. It really has that delicious homemade taste that the instant just doesn’t have. I can cook mine in the microwave, stirring as I go. Starting out at 3 minutes, stir, then 2 minutes, then 1 Minute and by then it is starting to thicken so I go to 20 seconds and stir , repeating until it is done. No standing over the stove stirring constantly like my mom did. I make mine thicker so I can put it in my cooked (store bought... shh I cheat on that) pie shell. Topped with whipped egg white meringue (3 room temperature eggs whites, 1/4 teaspoon of Cream of Tartar. 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, whipped to medium soft peaks and put in the over until the peaks are tipped with a light brown). My family swears it tastes just like my mom’s chocolate pies. (They don’t know she told me her pie cooking secrets before she passed on ❤️🌷❤️ Thanks Mom!) The cooked lemon pudding mix is yummy as well but mom puts a couple of tablespoons of eagle brand in it while mixing it up.

I have a very hard time finding the cook pudding in the markets. The cook puddings work best for pies which I make a lot of. Most used I’d vanilla, banana cream and lemon.

Thankful that I can find this on Amazon. Not available in local stores. I find the taste has changed and not as good as before but I add a bit of lemon juice and it works out.

It’s jello pudding and pie filling that’s hard to find in the grocery store. I guess everyone wants instant pudding now
