If you're a smaller 9, definitely consider an 8.5. I purchased these as a replacement for a pair of Nike Flyknits that I had. I wanted similar shoes, and hoped that these would do it. Unfortunately I didn't end up keeping them. I like wearing my Nike Flynkits without socks, and they are very comfortable when I do. I didn't find that these were nearly as comfortable, although perhaps that was my lack of socks? Additionally, tightening them was very difficult, if not basically impossible. There is no real "tongue" to this shoe like on most lace-up shoes. In theory, this is pretty cool, but in practice did not work for me. I LOVED the color, and they were cute shoes in person. Unfortunately though I just did not find them very comfortable, at least without socks, and since that's what I wanted them for, I didn't keep them. They did, however, appear well-made, they were very light, and the color was very nice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very lightweight, comfortable & well made *by A***D on Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2017* I saw these in a shoe store & fell in love. Theywre $90 st the store & I knew I could get them here for much less.They're really light & easy to wear. I have hot feet & I hate socks & especially socks with athletic shoes. I usually wear no socks & ruin my shoes but with these I can wear really thin socks & my feet still feel cool & comfortable. Also they're super high quality, a little slippery on the soles-I would hike in them but they're great everyday shoes, perfect for walking my dog or running errands.Great price too...I'm never paying full price again, especially at big chain stores, high prices & paying their employees like shit is not cool. Thanks Amazon, you're adding jobs in my city & you pay well!! ### ⭐ Shrunk when washed, slippery soles, great idea *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2019* I love native shoes and had very high expectations but have found two major problems 1. despite wearing the shoes constantly for a few days to scuff up the bottoms - they still slip on my gym floor making them impossible candidate as workout shoes. 2. I washed them, and put them on after washing and drying to discover they had shrunk, my foot still fits but it now slip out at the heel when i move actively. They are now only a pretty shoe, not a practical shoe.
