looks great. Wanted to revisit RE1....haven't played this game since PS1. Holy moly that was a long time ago. Was such a groundbreaking game and one of my all-time favorite video gaming moments in history is the very first zombie reveal when he turns to face you in the mansion. Such a great memory. Such a great game and experience. It's wild to look back and what that game looked like on PS1 and that was absolute peak graphics for the time. Brings back good memories of sitting around with friends beating games like this on an old tube tv. Wild there was a time before the internet and social media. Good trip down memory lane to a time that will never exist again.

These games are based on the amazing graphics on the Nintendo Game Cube at the time, but in this HD Remastered version the textures have been greatly sharpened to the point of rivaling most game graphics of the PS3 and Xbox 360 Era. It almost feels like a new version of the same game, but rest assured nothing has been changes except the closet room on the train in RE0 you can change outfits on the go in RE0 HD. I originally wrote a review on both of these games for the Wii releases when I never experience either of them firsthand, but now I have so I'll start with Resident Evil 0. Resident Evil 0 is a fantastic game and is extremely over the top, but I love it none the less. In this game players control both Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen in a single player co-operation. Unlike other Resident Evil titles you cannot store items in the safe room crates, but you have to know what is most important and what is not so there is a "Leave" feature for dropping items. When you complete the game there is the Leech Hunter mode which is handy for unlocking "Unlimited Ammo" on every weapon if you get all 100 leeches before leaving through the front door. Best tip I can give for this is play the stage and kill everything first since you cannot drop leaches once you pick them up. New to the HD version of RE0 is a new clear game unlocked mode called "Wesker" mode. In this you play the game as RE5 Wesker and Rebecca whose wearing a chest device similar to the one used on Jill in RE5. Wesker has 1 of his signature moves from RE5 which is the shadow dash where he can run at an insane speed which is handy for getting from point A to B faster. Wesker's new move is "Death Stare" which is a charge attack that can kill just about any non boss creature in 1 hit so it does make for a much easier way to play RE0. Resident Evil Remake HD Remastered is very similar to RE0 in it's overhaul of graphics. I was originally impressed with how this game looked on the Game Cube and Wii Versions, but this really makes the 1st game look like it was just remade in 2016. The textures are so vastly improved, the lighting is enhanced, and the characters look a lot more detailed than before in this 1080P revamp. I have not beaten this one yet so I don't know if there are any new post game things, but it is the remake to the game that starting it all and a very big favorite of mine. If you are a fan of these games and have a PS4 or Xbox One do yourself a favor and buy them. I am glad I bought this collection and happy about Amazon's 20% off pre-order promotion!

Resident Evil Origins Collection Wow! All these years finally got the best version on PS4 I’m so happy!! Now this is one of the best RE games (0, 1 Remake) I think the graphic’s are pretty dang good nice and polished for the PS4, if fact the graphic’s looked better than the Resident Evil Revelations 2, I bought the Resident Evil Remastered last year for PS3 I played both comparisons and the PS4 WINS!! If you never played the game before you would think it was a New Gen game… I can defiantly not play the PS1 and GameCube anymore BUT can’t trash it either. On the RE Zero still got a little pain with the camera angles also trying to pick up some things are a little hassle but still a very fun game to play also still got the Ink Ribbon for saving.. I Just complete RE Zero and the game was great!! then Wesker mode popped up! NO online needed and this was awesome and he is extremely fast!! Also Rebecca got red evil eyes that looks cool and nice custom, and the second round another custom popped up I don’t know how many more will come but will defiantly play it again. NOW I Can’t wait to get Resident Evil 2 Remake, also Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 4 this is gonna be sweet HD AND hope they will get a Remake for RE3 and Code veronica X for PS4 also hope they PORT Resident Evil Revelations 1 to PS4 those are the best games EVER!!

Product came earlier than expected. However, the disc was detached from case and had a light scratch on it which I did not like. The seller ToyZMania should try to be more careful with the games if possible. 4/5 stars for the games 3/5 for way game was delivered as delivery was prompt but disc was detached from case which I hope was just the exception. The games themselves are recommended for old Resident Evil fans. The first one is the best one and is an enduring classic that should be played by an self-proclaimed fan of horror.

Fan of Resident evil since the start. Party like its 1998. Might sound petty but i wish it was 2 discs and separate cases. The 2 in one combo kind of eh... from a collection stand point it would have been nice. RE holds alot of fun memories from childhood on to my late teens. Loved the game cube remake and the ps4 port is spot on. No need to review the game. If your a fan of the original and or of the game cube remake this is perfect. Its everything you want from its source but with the benefits of a new gen system

It was a lot of fun, tho definitely frustrating having to get use to the old controls, limited resources, and odd camera angles.
